Andrew is the Water Efficiency Manager at Thames Water. His key roles will be to ramp up the delivery of water savings programme across domestic and commercial customers. This will be in parallel to metering and bespoke demand management initiatives. For the past four years, Andrew has been the Water Strategy Manager for the Energy Savings Trust. Working to integrate and drive water efficiency through the UK energy efficiency and carbon reduction agendas, and advise on water sector delivery programmes. Andrew's focus areas include existing and new housing stock, water policy, water and energy efficiency behavioural change, and bringing together energy and water sectors for mutual benefit to the resident. Andrew has been responsible for introducing the Water Energy Calculator, designed to provide personalised water, energy, carbon and money savings from water efficiency for UK housing stock. Prior to Energy Savings Trust Andrew was Principal Policy Officer at the Greater London Authority. Andrew has also worked in the Australian mining industry as an Environmental Advisor, within coal and base metal mining and processing operations.

Dr. McNabola is a Civil Engineering and Associate Professor in Energy and the Environment at Trinity College Dublin. Based in the Department of Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering, Dr. McNabola has been involved in several EU-funded research projects examining various aspects of the use of micro-hydropower turbines in water pipe-networks since 2002. These include the current Dwr Uisce and REDAWN projects and the previous HydroBPT project. He has more than 15 years experience of working in academia and in practice focusing on the energy efficiency of environmental systems.

Dr Sarah Ward is a chartered water and environmental manager and a chartered environmentalist. Based at the University of Exeter, she has an interdisciplinary research portfolio across a range of themes including water sector resilience & sustainability, alternative water supply systems, health impacts of drought and water sector service innovation. In relation to the latter, she established a social enterprise, RainShare, which aims to explore alternative business models to facilitate sharing of roof runoff where practical. Erwin is both an electrical and an environmental engineer with 25 years expertise in the field of sustainable water and wastewater management. He is specialised in the planning, design and implementation of decentralised water and wastewater recycling systems in combination with heat recovery from greywater, besides project expertise in decentralised rainwater management schemes.
Erwin's focus areas include water and energy efficiency in buildings, optimisation of water recycling systems with regard to energy and maintenance expenditure, reduction of water costs in buildings, online monitoring systems for environmental measurements, stormwater recycling and management and development of codes and guidelines for greywater recycling and reuse in buildings.
Erwin is the founder and managing director of Nolde & Partner - Innovative Water Concepts, and acts as a consultant for public authorities, industry, NGOs, housing associations and private house owners. Prior to that, he spent over 10 years in intensive greywater research and development at the Technical University of Berlin. Erwin is co-founder of the German Association for Rainwater Harvesting and Water Reuse (fbr) and an active member of several DIN (German Institution for Standardisation) and DWA (German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste) working groups, including the New Alternative Sanitation Systems (NASS) group.
Erwin has a wide project experience in the MENA Region and South Africa and in government consultation, institutional framework, training and capacity building.

Steve Brown's career has focused on the water sector and helping to reduce water consumption in the built environment. He is currently in the final stages of completing a doctorate centred on water use during the design, construction and operation of non-domestic buildings. Additionally Steve works as a consultant on various projects related to the water sector.
Previous to this, he had a wider focus on sustainability, such as renewable energy, development of BREEAM criteria, and sustainability master planning. Steve has extensive experience in civil engineer design and construction project management. Many of these engineering projects required the design and supervision of the sustainable Urban Design (SUDS) systems. Over this career, his various roles have placed him as a project manager, researcher, author, designer, and facilitator. All of these roles related directly to sustainability and the built environment.
