Abbie McDonald

Abbie joined Nockolds in 2023 as a Trainee Solicitor and is currently working with our Employment Team. Before joining Nockolds, Abbie took part in our Vacation Scheme in 2021 and worked as a Litigation Paralegal in 2022. She completed her LLM LPC at BPP University in September 2023. Abbie currently assists the Partner in the Employment Team on a range of matters, including Unfair and Wrongful Dismissal, Discrimination claims, Redundancies and Settlement Agreements. Abbie strives to build trust and long-lasting relationships with clients. She is hardworking and endeavours to achieve the most favourable outcomes. In her spare time, Abbie is a professional pianist who performs in a plethora of places.

Adam Dunkley

Adam joined Nockolds in 2014 and is a Senior Associate in our Family Team. He handles all aspects of private family law including financial settlements, protection from domestic abuse, arrangements for children, cohabitation agreements and separation of unmarried couples. Adam is a member of Resolution, a national organisation of family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce and constructive resolutions to all other family issues. Through Resolution Adam is an accredited specialist in complex financial and child arrangements.

Alex Haddad - Chief Legal Officer

Alex joined Nockolds in 2011 and is a Legal Director in the litigation team. Before joining the firm, Alex studied law at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge and then trained in the City. Alex is a member of the Property Litigation Association and the London Solicitors' Litigation Association. Alex is also an accredited mediator (London School of Mediation) and he has successfully used mediation to settle a number of cases without the need for court proceedings.

Amy Dale

Amy joined Nockolds in 2016 and is a Plot Sales Executive (CILEX Paralegal) within our Commercial Property Team. She specialises in working with developers on sales of leasehold and freehold properties from reservation to post completion. Amy has gained vast experience and knowledge of the day-to-day practice of buying and selling property, having over 15 years' experience in both residential property sale and purchases and residential plot sales. Amy has completed her CILEX Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice (Conveyancing) and her CILEX Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice.

Andrew Jenkins

Andrew is an Associate working in our Contentious Probate Team, having joined the firm in September 2019. In the Contentious Probate Team, Andrew assists with contentious and non-contentious matters regarding probate, inheritance and the Court of Protection. As a result, Andrew has worked numerous cases involving vulnerable individuals and financial abuse - particularly within a Power of Attorney context. Andrew graduated in 2015 from Nottingham University achieving a 2:1 in his law degree, as well as competing internationally for the university's debating team. After his degree, Andrew worked as a senior paralegal at a niche employment law firm based in Chelmsford. In 2019, Andrew achieved a Distinction from the University of Law for the accelerated Legal Practice Course.

Andrew Pinkney

Before joining Nockolds Wealth, Andrew worked for the Prudential as a Financial Planner. He began his financial services career with Sun Life Assurance Company Limited in Bristol, in 1987. Andrew has a wide-ranging experience across all areas of financial planning, including pensions, onshore and offshore investments, inheritance tax, trustee investments and protection. Andrew is a Chartered Financial Planner and a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner, and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Ann Coleman

Ann joined Nockolds in 2019 and works in our Wills and Probate Team as a Trust and Estate Tax Accountant. She specialises in providing taxation advice to clients in respect of estates in administration. Ann is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has previous experience of working in various firms of chartered accountants and also as a finance director in a commercial property company.

Anna Van Zyl

Anna joined Nockolds in 2021 as a Paralegal and is now a Trainee Solicitor currently working with our Dispute Resolution Team. Before joining Nockolds she worked as Residential Property Paralegal for 2 years and worked as a Legal Compliance Intern in Germany. Anna is transparent and maintains honest communication with her clients, thereby managing their expectations effectively from the outset. This approach helps her to anticipate client's needs and establish an effective strategy to achieve their goals. She is calm, solution focused and pragmatic.

Anupama Bhatia

Anupama joined Nockolds as a Senior Associate in our Wills, Probate, Tax and Trusts Department. She is familiar and has expertise in a diverse range of areas of private client work including estate administration, Will drafting and preparing of Lasting Powers of Attorney, liaising with other departments where appropriate. Before joining the firm, Anupama studied Law at Brunel University. After graduating she then went on to complete her Legal Practice Course and Professional Skills Course at BPP Law School. She is also an SFE Member (Solicitor for the Elderly) and received the OCCP Award (Older Client Care Practice).

Cameron McColl

Job Titles:

Cameron is an Associate in our Corporate and Commercial team. He joined Nockolds in 2021 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified in March 2023. Cameron advises on corporate transactions including share sales and purchases, business and asset sales and purchases, company restructures, share buybacks and management buyout/buy-ins, and corporate documents such as shareholders agreements and partnership agreements. Cameron also advises on a wide range of commercial matters including distribution agreements, commercial terms and conditions, services agreements, and commercial lending and borrowing arrangements. A fluent French speaker with international experience, Cameron began his legal career at the International Court of Arbitration in Paris before moving to London in 2019. He then worked at a specialist corporate immigration law firm in the City of London, until joining Nockolds as a Trainee Solicitor in March 2021. Cameron graduated from the University of London Institute in Paris in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French. During his time in Paris, he completed the Graduate Diploma in Law remotely and achieved a distinction. In 2020, he achieved distinctions in the Legal Practice Course and an MSc degree in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law, London Bloomsbury.

Before joining Nockolds Carissa volunteered as an advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau and developed skills such as negotiating with third parties and drafting letters. In 2018, Carissa gained a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course from BBP University. At Nockolds Carissa assists clients with all aspects of lifetime planning, such as preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and administration of estates.

Darren has developed a particular niche acting for high-net-worth clients in the City and has been consulted by the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and FX Times, as well as appearing on CNBC commenting on the impact of employment law developments in the City.

Helen holds a Post Graduate Diploma from Anglia Ruskin University and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD). She has also achieved membership status at the British Institute of Facilities Management (MBIFM). Helen is a committed people person who can motivate, coach and mentor, incorporating strategic objectives for successful business delivery.

Kimberley Wallace

Kimberley is an experienced Senior HR Consultant and heads up our Nockolds HR team. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) with over 16 years professional HR experience working across numerous industries on both an in-house and consultancy basis including media, retail, healthcare and social housing. Her wealth of experience means that Kimberley is skilled at working with clients from different industries and of varying sizes in a true HR business partnering relationship. Kimberley prides herself on being conscientious, dependable and creative; working with business leaders to develop effective people solutions, enhance workforce performance, and nurture talent and culture to achieve organisational strategies.
