Abigail has set her sights on being a great hairdresser and she is a really keen learner. She's a bit of a fashionista too and loves staying up to date with the latest trends. Aside from hair, Abigail is passionate about shopping and make-up!
Abi is very passionate about the hairdressing industry and always has been! She loves learning new things and gaining experience through the years. Aside from hairdressing, she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Cameron was drawn to hairdressing as a way to express his creativity. He's excited to be a part of an environment where he can make a difference and help put a smile on people's faces. Outside of the salon, he is a keen member of an amateur drama group.
Keely is currently on maternity leave. We'll keep you posted on her return.
Lauren is a real team player who trained at the Janet Maitland Academy. A skilled hair stylist, who has previously won the BL Hairdressing competition, Lauren is a member of the award-winning creative team. She's known for being a precision hairstylist, but she's also brilliant at creating voluminous ‘dos for big nights out.

Hetton-le-Hole manager Lisa has been with the group for almost three decades. She completely loves the job, her team and her amazing loyal clients, but also adores working on photo shoots for the group.
Lisa is a qualified lecturer and assessor and a true inspiration to her team.
We're so proud to tell you that Lisha has recently been accepted as a member of the Schwarzkopf Professional Young Artistic Team. It;s no surprise, she loves keeping an eye on the looks hitting the catwalks and is always on-trend with the season's styles.
Lucy loves working with people and making all clients feel beautiful and confident. She has loved the hair industry for as long as she can remember and takes great pride in her work. Outside of work, she loves to travel to new places and countries.
Nicola is a highly qualified beauty therapist with over 20 years experience. Awarded 'Expert Status' by Dermalogica, Nicola continues with her professional development to maintain this much sought after accolade.
Nicola will be working at Gilesgate on Friday and Saturday.
Sandra is pivotal to the success of our salons and is the head of education for all of our staff. Her caring nature ensures staff love her training and expertise in all things hairdressing.
She is also a brilliant hairdresser who is trained in hairdressing and customer service and is also a qualified lecturer, assessor and internal verifier.
Sarah has previously worked at London Fashion Week and has a fantastic understanding of hot trends and what's about to happen in the UK fashion industry. Sarah is your ‘go-to' girl for the latest trend tips.
Simona, from Bucharest, has been hairdressing for 10 years and loves the way hairdressing can transform clients in both image and how they feel about themselves. Her passion is making clients feel and look good and she loves avant-garde hairdressing.
Suzanne has recently returned to Janet Maitland after working as a hairdresser in Austria, Jersey and Dubai, where she ran a City & Guilds Training Academy. She's back for good and more passionate than ever about passionate about hairdressing and giving clients the best service.
With over 15 years' hairdressing experience, Tori loves experimenting with colour. She has had a great time wading through fashion sites to really be on-trend with what's emerging from the catwalks and using this to give clients up-to-the-minute, fabulous looks. Tori has worked as a stylist at London Fashion Week on a number of occasions.
