Jillian Sanders

Jillian has a son with a learning disability and has worked within the special schools' sector for many years. Jillian brings a huge amount of knowledge of the needs of young people with learning disabilities and their vision for the future.

Louis Taylor

Hello my name is Louis and I help the Mencap office every Thursday morning. I like to laminate the photos and paperwork for Marie and Sue and decorate the walls so that everyone can see what we get up to at home and when we are out and about.

Lynne Spratt

Lynne has been with Huntingdon Mencap for the past 25 years! In this time she has been instrumental in the growth of the service and is committed to promoting positive change and visibility in society for the people we support.

Malcolm Ryman

Job Titles:
  • Trustee
Alongside supporting Huntingdon Mencap, Malcolm is also the chairperson of the Parkinson's society, which incorporates Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots and Ramsey. Malcolm is a welcome addition to the society.

Pauline Robson

Pauline has been a member of the society for 20+ years. Pauline works with people who have learning disabilities and attend day services in Huntingdon and St Ives. Pauline is a valued member of our society.

Rica Scott

Job Titles:
  • Senior Operations Manager
Rica came to work for the society in 1997 , inspired by the people we support she was keen to develop her skills to meet the needs of our service users in the best way she could. Rica has many roles within the service, both operational and managerial and her best title is trouble-shooter! Add all these skills to a passion for food, delivering training, and raising the profile of people with a learning disability so that they are given the opportunity to be visible and you have the basis for our Café Pinnies which is all of the above and so much more.

Sue Duley

Sue is a solicitor working in the public sector in Cambridgeshire. She has been a Trustee with the Society since 2018, involved primarily with fundraising.

Sue Roberts - CEO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Executive Officer
Sue has been part of Hunts Mencap since 1988 at a small residential home jointly managed by the Society and then Huntingdon Health Authority. The appointment was initially for 6 months, but Sue was inspired by the people who lived at the home and was determined to improve the way services were delivered to people with learning disabilities. Sue is still here 34 years on!

Terry Shears

Terry has been actively involved with the society for many years. He has a daughter with significant learning disabilities and enhances the society with his wealth of knowledge.
