KBS was established in 1979 as a small family business supplying the building trade in Kington and the immediate area. It wasn't long before word of our great customer service spread and the business started to grow. Soon we were supplying customers further and further afield. With demand in the Mid-Wales area becoming more and more apparent we opened our second branch in Rhayader during the summer of 1985... We are very proud of our status as a family-run, independent builders merchant and we feel this allows us to give a much more personal and enjoyable customer experience. Many of our staff have worked for us for decades and have built up long-lasting relationships with both customers and suppliers.
