Janette Redding

Janette holds a Psychological Science (BSc) degree from the University of Westminster. Janette has been providing administrative support to LAM since 2005, including organising events and assisting with client reporting. In her spare time she is an active volunteer at her local church and enjoys playing the saxophone and walking her dog.

Melissa Longley

Job Titles:
  • Non - Executive Director
Melissa has worked successfully in portfolio management for over 25 years. Prior to establishing Longley Asset Management in 2004, Melissa was a Director and Head of Advisory Fund Management at Kleinwort Benson Private Bank, where she was also on the committee that set the monthly investment policy. Her career includes a decade with Lehman Brothers, and she has extensive experience of assisting UK and international investors, particularly individuals and family accounts. Melissa has expertise in US, UK and European equity markets, fixed income markets, and collectives including Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), and is a founder member of the Guild of Investment Managers. In July 2022 Melissa became Master of the Guild - a one year term of office. Melissa is an experienced Non-Executive Director and has held such roles for Endometriosis UK and the Lansdowne Club. She is a founder trustee for The Investment Managers' Charitable Trust. She has a lifelong interest in the ballet. Melissa - and Longley Asset Management - are featured in the commemorative album "300 Years of Leadership and Innovation", published in 2021 by the History of Parliament Trust. The book celebrates both 300 years since Robert Walpole became the country's first Prime Minister and the 95 th birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. Paul Stevens

Paul began working in the private client industry at Grieveson Grant stockbrokers, and then joined Kleinwort Benson Private Bank where he was Co-Head of Collective Investments. He joined LAM in 2012 and his expertise includes managing private client portfolios, including trusts and charities, as well as portfolios for corporations. Paul knows the collective investment market extremely well, having established the analytical and evaluation process for such investments at Kleinwort Benson. He has over 25 years' experience, is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI, and is also a founder member of the Guild of Investment Managers. In his private time, as well as being a keen art collector, Paul is actively involved in the local community and is Co-Chair of the Neighbourhood Watch Committee.
