Austin Wienecke is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist with 18 years of experience working in the field of Urban Forestry. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon. He taught Urban Forestry for the US Forest service for 5 years and is certified as a Tree Climber Trainer. A proficient arborist, he is capable of diagnosing tree health and stability while also being able to undertake its treatment, whether that be through pruning, IPM or removal. He is general manager for Arbor Care Tree Specialists Inc., a full-service tree care firm based out of Astoria, Oregon. Past experience and skills include: Board Member for Ascending the Giants (a group dedicated to climbing and measuring the largest trees by species within the Pacific Northwest); designing and building treehouses in the Portland metro area; council member with the Oregon State Parks, Central Oregon Coast 50-year planning commission; International of Arboriculture speaker; Award recipient from Oregon Community Trees for teaching; Eagle Scout; proud husband and father of three.

Jon is the crew foreman and lead climber for Arbor Care Tree Specialists. He graduated from the University of Idaho in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources and Bachelors of Arts in Spanish Language. He has been a Certified Arborist with Arbor Care since 2010. Jon is devoted to safety, and is enthusiastic about continuing education in the constantly evolving field of Arboriculture. After work Jon enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Meredith and their dog Lola, as well as performing with his band Holiday Friends.
Luke, an ISA Certified Arborist (the first on the north Oregon coast) is passionate about the stewardship of trees as a natural resource and has 20 years of experience in the arboriculture industry. He founded Arbor Care Tree Specialists in 2004 and Arbor Care continues to be the leading tree service in the area. Luke is also committed to giving back to the community. He is the 2008 winner of the "George Award", an award given by the Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce for extraordinary service to the community. Luke organized the annual "Stuff the Truck" food drive, which has proven to be the largest food drive benefitting local residents in need. He also serves on the boards of the Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce and The Clatsop County Historical Society.
Mitch is our everything guy. With a degree in Automotive Technology, he was hired for his mechanical abilities, but has quickly evolved into an integral part of all our day to day operations. Mitch has been with the company since 2014. Although he had no previous experience in the field of arboriculture, Mitch has become a skilled aerial lift operator, climber, and crew leader. He is also an expert machine operator, which makes our jobs go very smoothly and preserves all our backs! In his spare time, he enjoys rebuilding his jeep, from the ground up-another skill that comes in handy when something breaks down on the job!
Pam joined Arbor Care in 2016 with more than 10 years of business management experience, and a degree in International Business. Aside from handling the bookkeeping, scheduling, and customer accounts, she is the friendly voice you are likely to hear on the other end of the phone line. As the office manager, Pam runs the show behind the scenes without having to be subjected to the rest of the team's shenanigans (or the wind and rain). Active in her community, she enjoys participating in the Great Columbia Crossing and has volunteered with Rotary International, the Salvation Army, The Boy Scouts of America, and while stationed in Alaska, served on the Kodiak Public Broadcasting Corporation Board of Directors. In her free time, Pam also enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their three daughters.
