BOWER PLACE EYE CENTER - Key Persons
Cindi started in the optical industry in 1983 working in a plastic lens surfacing lab. After 5 years of being involved with making glasses, she started at Consumer's Optical selling glasses. In 1990 she took the Optometric Assistants course and worked at Bower Place Eye Center as well as Consumer's Optical. Cindi took some time off to stay at home and raise her two daughters. She worked in Innisfail at the optometrist office for a couple of years before returning to manage Bower Place Eye Center.
Dr. Kaiyi Pang attended Simon Fraser University for her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology. She graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2015 with her Doctor of Optometry degree on the Dean's Honour list. Along with her experience on her externships, she has had the opportunity to volunteer on an optometric mission trip to Romania, providing free eye care and glasses to the underprivileged. As she loves to travel, she hopes to participate in more in the future! Originally from Burnaby, BC, Dr. Pang is excited to be in Red Deer delivering quality eye care to her patients of all ages, including primary care, ocular disease management and contact lens fittings. She is fluent in English and can speak conversational Mandarin and French.
