It took me a lot of leg work to find my calling. I spent my 20s learning and working without any clear idea of where I really wanted to go; while many might consider the perennial student status of my 20s a waste of time, money, and energy, I don't... My undergraduate degrees in Anthropology/Sociology, Gender & Sexuality, Literature, and Psychology have created a wonderful foundation of knowledge on which to build my therapeutic approach; they continue to serve me well in my understanding of the many ways to live a fulfilling life, and the many ideas about what is necessary to do so. After living and growing through many personal struggles, and finding myself on the "client" side of the counselling room, I realized where my passion lies. My Masters degree in Counselling Psychology helped me pull all of my prior learnings together into a cohesive bundle in order to be an open-minded, curious, and skilled therapist.
