Austin Borreson

Austin Borreson is the Grad Pad Graduate Teaching Assistant under Buckeye Careers and is a Higher Education and Student Affairs Masters student. His primary role is to act as coordinator between the Student Life graduate assistants, their managers, Student Life Human Resources, and the Higher Education and Student Affairs Student Personnel Assistantship program. Austin also strives to be an advocate and liaison for the above groups should any problems or questions arise. Future goals include working with study abroad programs and with international students and making those programs more accessible for students who normally cannot participate in them.

Cyndi Mignone

Cyndi Mignone is the College2Careers Counselor immersed at Ohio State within Buckeye Careers.

Dr. Ana C. Berríos Allison

Job Titles:
  • Professional Counselor in the State of Ohio
  • Staff Training and Development Coordinator
Dr. Ana C. Berríos Allison is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Ohio. Her experience in higher education includes, career counseling, individual and group counseling, grief and loss, and adjunct teaching at Counselor Education Programs in central Ohio. Her counseling interests relate to the influences of contextual factors and family dynamics in career decision-making, career and wellness, career transitions, spirituality, as well as multicultural counseling. Ana has published and presented in numerous conferences, nationally and internationally, about career counseling and social justice among various clients and special populations. Dr. Berrios Allison served in the Board of the Ohio Career Development Association (OCDA) and has been recognized at the state level as the recipient of many leadership and counseling awards, including the Ohio Counseling Association (OCA) Charles "Chuck" Weaver Award. Additionally, Ana volunteers at the OSU James Care for Life co-facilitating career counseling groups for cancer survivors and their caregivers. She is also a certified spiritual director who provides spiritual companionship in the community.

Emily Janssen

Emily works as a Graduate Assistant for Buckeye Careers, providing career support to students through career coaching. Some of the services she offers includes resume reviews, career exploration, interview practice, among other career services. She is a current graduate student in the Counselor Education program, planning to get her Master's in School Counseling in May 2024. She hopes to become an elementary school counselor after graduation, supporting young students.

Jasmine Stephenson

Jasmine Stephenson joined the university in the fall of 2019. She comes to Ohio State after working as a school counselor at Metro Early College High School. She is a third year doctoral student pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Ohio State. Jasmine received both her Master of Arts in Counselor Education, School Counseling and Bachelor of Arts in Black Studies from Ohio State. Outside of work Jasmine enjoys spending time with her family and serving in her church and community.

Jennifer Chilman

  • Employer Relations and Internship Director
Jennifer develops relationships with hiring organizations, college career services departments, cross-university departments and community partners to increase the number of internship and career opportunities for students attending The Ohio State University. She also provides consulting on the creation of new internship and experiential learning programs, marketing and promotion of internships.

Kristen Hill

Kristen has supported career services for Student Life for over 20 years. She coordinates student outreach services, manages the daily activity in the office and manages our student employees.

Mollie-Marie Workman

Job Titles:
  • Career Technology Program Manager
Mollie manages the university-wide career management system (Handshake) in collaboration and partnership with the college and regional campus career services offices. She conducts trainings and outreach for Handshake and provide hands-on support on other Buckeye Careers initiatives, including The Ohio State University Fall Career and Internship Fair.

Nancy Thompson

Job Titles:

Nancy provides strategic leadership for Buckeye Careers, an integrated career development program for students that augments the existing strengths of Ohio State's decentralized career services model. Buckeye Careers offers career development assistance, support and resources for all Ohio State students. Buckeye Careers also partners closely with hiring organizations and the college career services offices in identifying and promoting employment and experiential learning opportunities that span a wide variety of majors at Ohio State.

Tara Nord

Job Titles:
  • Career Engagement Specialist
Tara Nord joined the Buckeye Careers team in February 2022, coming from the hospitality and healthcare industry. As a Buckeye graduate herself (Bachelors of Science, Hospitality Management and Business), she is ecstatic to bring her background and knowledge to plan and execute the university wide Career & Internship Fair, so that students may find their next opportunity and begin their career journey just like she did when she was a student. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her pet rabbit, watching movies, and exploring new places with her husband.

Taylor Koon

Job Titles:
  • Career Development Specialist
Taylor supports the Student Employment Experience (SEE), a program that sets and communicates expectations for student employee growth and development and prepares managers of students to be active participants in the process. She is currently in the process of earning her Master's in Educational Policy and hopes to use her degree to reduce barriers to higher education.
