My name is Chris, I work as a person-centred counsellor offering a supportive and therapeutic environment providing the opportunity for clients of all age groups to work towards enhanced self-awareness and understanding. I feel it is important to work in a transparent way offering warmth and acceptance ensuring clients have a safe space to self explore. I am extremely passionate about the person-centred approach and feel it lends itself to working with both adults and children alike... Alongside my private practice I have 8 years loss and grief counselling experience working in a Hospice. This included working with bereaved clients alongside patients and relatives during illness. I have also facilitated within adult and children's bereavement support groups and feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to work closely with families during such a difficult and painful time.
