George Dorsett

George is the VP, Business Development at Clariness, holding the responsibility for global expansion of the ClinLife® brand across Large Pharma, CRO, Biotech and Medical Device. George is responsible for ensuring our customers, trusted partners and most importantly patients, receive the necessary innovative solutions to ensure clinical research is an approachable care option. George joined Clariness in 2022, having scaled numerous digital-first organisations, he believes strongly in the utilization of data in the full clinical trial continuum from protocol optimization, through enrolment and monitoring. Over the past 12+ years he has held senior leadership positions at start-ups through FTSE 100 organisations, most recently VP, Sales in the patient recruitment industry, having worked with a wide range of MNCs as well as market disruptors. George strongly advocates that the customer voice should be the driving force in the relationship and that teams should endeavour to do what is best for all stakeholders involved in the process. His education and time spent across Asia and Europe encourages a global viewpoint with an emphasis on localising approaches wherever possible. George holds a degree in Politics from the University of Essex; he also sits on the Board of Directors for several charitable organisations and provides addiction counselling outside of work.

Gopi Krishnamurthy

Gopi joined Clariness in 2021 as VP of Engineering, however within 18 months he joined Clariness' Executive Leadership Team, assuming the role of Chief Technology Officer, after having already made significant contributions to driving the company's mission. Through developing innovative product platforms that leverage new technologies and data, Gopi is accelerating the pace at which Clariness can support customers in bringing new treatments and therapies to market. He began his career as a founding engineer building data-driven products, and over 2 decades, worked his way though organizations of all sizes, driving their digital transformation and crafting cloud and data strategies to step into the world of cloud-native platforms. Along the way, he studied modern startups and their innovative disruptions through executive programs offered by Harvard.

Jakob Schmidt

Jakob Schmidt is Head of the Enrollment Management Center at Clariness, providing leadership to our global patient service teams covering 35+ languages. In this position, Jakob and his team are committed to making Clariness the most patient-centric organization in the market by offering outstanding patient service throughout the whole patient journey. He and his team are ultimately responsible for successfully engaging and pre-qualifying patients worldwide. Over the last years, Jakob has served in project management, operations, and as a regional MD in politics. He gained extensive experience in optimizing human-centric conversion funnels in different business areas. Jakob studied Business Administration and Political Science (M.A.). Moreover, he holds an international MBA with a specialization in Strategic Management. During his MBA program, Jakob focused on funnel conversion optimization by Marketing and Operations Management. Along his way, he did executive education courses at the Institute of Design at Stanford and the Hamburg School of Business Administration. His passion is traveling and hiking (his next target is summiting Kilimanjaro)

Janine Hart

Janine Hart joined Clariness in 2008 as its first employee, where she supported the operational project business by rolling out the ClinLife platform to 10 countries and managing the entire project portfolio. 13 years later, Janine sits on the Executive Team as Clariness' Chief Compliance Officer, where she is responsible for Quality, Compliance, Legal and Training topics across the organisation. Before joining Clariness, Janine founded her own start-up in the outdoor advertising business. She studied law and medicine and rounded her education with an MBA, gained in the UK. In her free time, she manages interior design projects.

Joseph Yeomans - CMO

Joseph joined the company in 2021 to bring the company's marketing into alignment with Clariness' vision and mission. Refreshing Clariness' incredible story and bringing the same level of innovation as Clariness' patient marketing, to its client marketing, his team has sparked collaborations with some of the largest sponsors in the world. With over a decade of experience in marketing, Joseph has delivered results across a multitude of highly specialized markets, including medical imaging, space electronics, financial data, and now patient recruitment. Articulating complex solutions in the customers' language has been a common theme of his career, which positioned him well to translate the unparalleled impact of Clariness' solutions on its clients' studies.

Michael Stadler - CEO, Founder, President

Michael Stadler is the CEO and Co-Founder of Clariness, providing executive leadership and strategic direction to the company and its subsidiaries. He brings more than 20 years of experience in launching and strategic management of organizations across consumer and business-to-business industries. Prior to co-founding Clariness in 2005, Michael was Managing Director for Deltavista in Germany, a provider of risk management software and services, where he developed the business plan and market entry strategy. Michael and his team successfully implemented the strategy, grew and established the company as a key presence in the risk management services industry. Before joining Deltavista, Michael assisted in the launch of the German affiliate of one of Europe's largest online supermarkets, and served as the Chief Financial Officer. There, he oversaw finance, human resource and purchasing functions. Earlier roles included positions of increasing responsibility, from Business Controller to Chief Financial Officer at Tele2, an international telecommunications company. He began his career in the controlling department of Procter & Gamble, holding various financial analysis positions. Michael earned a degree in finance & accounting from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. He sits on the Advisory Board of CISCRP (The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation) and is a regular speaker on several patient recruitment conferences.

Moritz Kloss

Moritz Kloss joined Clariness in 2020 as the Vice President - Registry. He is responsible for building up and internationalizing our marketplace solution, ClinLife® - Registry to become the Global Market Leader. The award-winning Registry solution allows patients to participate in clinical trials. Using our platform, sites receive a continuous flow of pre-qualified patients, allowing them to fully focus on randomizing them. Over the past 15+ years Moritz was part of the management of corporates as well build up different start ups in different industries, always focusing on the customer and their needs. 6 years ago, he discovered his passion for marketplace models. He successfully built up two start-ups and scaled them in over 9 countries and +600 cities. Over 7 years he has been a business angel, focusing on impact start-ups, especially healthcare, that's why it was a logical step to join Clariness and its mission. Moritz studied finance & banking and international management in Bayreuth and Sydney. He loves to watch (Werder Bremen) and play soccer, jogs to get his mind free, and likes winter sports. Besides he supports (young) entrepreneurs via the better venture club to build up their own impact companies.

Nikolas Offenhauser

Dr. med. Nikolas Offenhauser is Medical Director at Clariness and joined the company in 2018. In his role, Nikolas strives to provide best-in-class medical and scientific expertise to patients' needs as well as Clariness clients. He brings more than 20 years of senior scientific leadership experience in clinical and preclinical research as well as medical expertise as a clinician and investigator in phase II-IV clinical trials and is board certified in medical physiology. Prior to joining Clariness, he was Medical Director at Viomedo, from early start-up to becoming the largest online platform for clinical trials in the DACH region, recognized for patient-centered recruitment solutions. Before he joined Viomedo Nikolas held various leadership positions at the Charité and at the Berlin Institute of Health, where he served as Head of Quality-Management at one of the largest German research institutes for translational medicine in academia. During his research career, Dr. Offenhauser has been teaching at the Charite - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen. He has numerous scientific publications in internationally renowned journals. Nikolas is MD by training, board certified in medical physiology and medical quality management (and certified quality manager and auditor). He graduated and earned his doctorate at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Sebastian Melzer

Sebastian joined the company in 2022 as Commercial Lead, to develop our understanding of our customers' needs and the direction of the market, in order to build and deliver solutions that provide value across Clariness' portfolio of patient recruitment, retention, and insights. Sebastian's experience includes leading roles across Vendor and Account Management at Amazon, where he scaled multiple teams and organizations, while focusing on his direct customers, and Amazon's end users. Prior to this, Sebastian studied Business Administration in Germany and Sweden, where he obtained a Master's in Economics.

Stefan Mayer-Eggersmann - Chief Commercial Officer

Stefan Mayer-Eggersmann joined Clariness in 2021 as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this position, Stefan and his team are committed to perfectly understanding the needs of our customers, and delivering value-adding solutions for pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies in need of patient recruitment, patient retention and patient insight services. Over the last 15+ years Stefan has served in MD and EVP Sales & Account Management roles across multiple B2B service companies in several industries. During this time, he gained extensive experience understanding the customers' needs and creating long-lasting partnerships, while managing and closely supervising numerous customer programs across the globe, specifically in Europe and North America. Stefan studied Economics and Intercultural Communication and is a huge fan of both travel and sports. Stephanie Oelkers - CFO

Stephanie Oelkers is the Chief Financial Officer at Clariness and holds the responsibility of leading the Finance department. With her strong financial operations expertise Stephanie was inspired to start her career at Clariness in July 2014, and soon after established the finance department as a cross departmental business partner. Stephanie's extensive skills and professional experiences helped her build a strong finance department. Before joining Clariness Stephanie was the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of ING Lease Deutschland GmbH, initially starting as Junior Financial Controller. During Stephanie's time there she quickly excelled and was promoted to Head of Financial Accounting & Controlling, and thereafter to Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the German entity. Prior to ING Lease Deutschland GmbH, Stephanie started her business career in the financial sector as auditing assistant for Ernst & Young. Stephanie studied Business Law at Leuphana University of Lüneburg with a focus on taxes & auditing and graduated as Dipl. Wirtschaftsjurist.
