Dr Andrew Thomson

Dr Thomson graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000. Andrew earned his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Queensland, specialising in Endodontics, and began working as a specialist Endodontist in Canberra and Brisbane. Andrew has a strong interest in teaching where he was the Discipline Lead and Senior Lecturer of Endodontics at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry from 2011 to 2013. He is also involved in running hands on continuing education seminars. Andrew's keenest interest is in new materials and equipment, which has driven him to publish articles and research about new and novel endodontic materials. Away from work Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah, and their young family. Andrew is also a sports fanatic, following all of Queensland's sporting teams.

Dr Bill Kahler

Dr Kahler graduated from the University of Queensland dental school in 1983.

Dr David Leong

David is an AHPRA registered specialist in Endodontics. He completed his undergraduate dental training at Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2009 and practised as a general dentist in both the public sector and private practice in New South Wales and South-East Queensland. He returned to Griffith University in 2020 to undertake his specialist training and completed a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics, graduating with Distinction. David is a clinical supervisor to dental students at Griffith University, and is a member of a number of industry associations, including the Australian Dental Association, Australian Dental Association of Queensland, Australian Society of Endodontology and the American Association of Endodontists. Outside of endodontics, David enjoys spending time with his wife and their 6-year old son. He also loves the outdoors and enjoys mountain biking, surfing and hanging out at the beach.

Dr Jeff Hislop

Dr Hislop graduated from the University of Queensland in 1983. After graduating he worked at the Brisbane Dental Hospital, where he developed his interest in the endodontics branch of dentistry. Subsequently, Jeff received a Master's Degree, as well as a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and began lecturing at the Griffith University Dental School. Jeff continues to teach at both Queensland and Griffith Universities and has been appointed to the Clinical Accreditation Board at Griffith University. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys playing tennis, running, and a fine glass of scotch.

Dr Kiran Kumar

Dr Kiran Kumar completed his undergraduate degree in India, where he also subsequently undertook further specialist training, completing a Master's degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in 2000. He has worked as a specialist in both India and Abu Dhabi (UAE) prior to moving to Australia in 2010. In 2018 he was accepted into the Master's program at the University of Queensland and completed formal training there in the discipline of Endodontics in 2020. Dr. Kumar has over 20 years of experience as an endodontist managing cases of complexity and difficulty. Within the field of endodontics, his areas of special interest are dental trauma, management of cracked teeth, diagnosis and management of endodontic failures and surgical endodontics. In 2007 he was awarded a Fellowship in the Royal Australasian college of Dental Surgeons by examination. Dr Kumar also holds membership in the Australian Dental Association, the Australasian Society of Endodontology, the American Association of Endodontics, the Indian Endodontic society and the International Association of Dental Traumatology. Outside of dentistry, Dr Kumar's interests include playing badminton, cricket, bush walking and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Rob Hazlewood

Dr Hazlewood has been working as a specialist endodontist since 1998, and a key member of the team at Endodontics Only since 2003. Rob graduated as a general dentist in 1982, receiving a BDSc (Hon) degree from the University of Queensland, and returned to receive his MDSc (Endodontics) in 1998. After graduation, Rob spent 15 years as a Dental Officer with the Australian Army, during which time he obtained a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, where he continues to support the Australian Army as a Lieutenant Colonel Consultant. He has served as president of the Australian Society of Endodontology and has provided clinical mentoring and lectures for dental students at the University of Queensland. Rob lives with his wife, Jessica, and their three children, and as a family, they enjoy getting in the outdoors by taking camping holidays and bushwalking.

Dr. Tom Fenelon

Dr. Tom Fenelon graduated as a general dentist in 2012 after completing his undergraduate degree with honours at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Following 5 years in general practice, he returned to undertake specialty training, graduating with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics from the University of Melbourne in 2021. Tom has worked in public and private practice in Brisbane, Melbourne and Hobart. He also continues to serve as a Dental Officer in the Australian Army and has recently been involved in clinical teaching of dental students at the University of Melbourne. Tom is a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology, the American Association of Endodontists and the Australian Dental Association. In caring for patients, he strives to articulate diagnosis and treatment needs in an easily understandable way and to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment for endodontic treatment. In his spare time, Tom enjoys a range of sports as well as camping and getting outdoors with his wife Georgina and two girls, Chloe and Harriet.
