Captain Doug House started it all with "Captain Doug's Airboat Tours" along with his son-in-law, Captain Bruce Minton. We have remained the smallest operation on the Barron River by choice and while we're licensed for 24 airboats, we keep a fleet of just five. Why? Because we believe the best experience is a personal one-and staying small lets us get to know our guests like you better. Our pioneering captains worked together for over 25 years until Captain Doug retired in 2007. The family continues to run the business and we've got exciting plans for the future!
