F J Mole Silversmiths was established in Brisbane in 1913 by Englishman Frederick James Mole and the company quickly gained a reputation for high quality silverware manufacture. In the 1920's the manufacture of Church Silver and Brass, and of sterling silver trophies, became the dominant focus of the business and it remained this way until the 1960's... Our workshop is located at Birkdale, approximately 15 minutes from the Gateway Bridge on Brisbane's Bayside. As a busy small business we see customers only by appointment, ensuring that we are able to discuss your job with you when you bring it in... We are a leading restorer of brass and iron antique beds and have been for over 50 years. Brass Beds have undergone a revival in recent years and we provide a free pickup and delivery service to most areas of South East Queensland including the Toowoomba region and Northern New South Wales for Antique Bed Restoration.
