I have been involved in the fitness industry since 2003 when I qualified as an instructor.
Since that time I have worked as an instructor and personal trainer in commercial and corporate settings. In 2012 I obtained my bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Management from UCD and then a postgraduate certificate in 2014.
In addition to being a wellness advisor in eBay's headquarters in Dublin I am a Pilates instructor, personal trainer, tutor and research enthusiast.
I am a Physical Therapist & Personal Trainer with over 10 year's experience in the fitness industry.
I am a tutor on the Level 3 & 4 Sports Massage & Sports injury course, I also lecture for the Gym Instructor & Personal Trainer course contributing a wealth of knowledge on the various modules covered.
absolutely love what I do. I am one of those lucky people that can say that my work is my hobby and my passion.
I practice primarily as an evidence based physical therapist and enjoy staying on top of the latest treatment modalities for all musculo-skeletal injuries and conditions. I provide my patients with top level rehab protocols, restore functional movement and assist with return to normal daily activities as soon as possible.

Eileen Heffernan trained at the "Stott Pilates" Headquarters in Toronto and is a fully certified Pilates instructor for Mat, Reformer and equipment. With more than 15 years experience behind her, Eileen has taught a range of clients from pre and post natal to elite athletes and professional dancers.
She teaches small groups and one to one sessions at the "New You" personal training and Pilates studio Baggot Street D2.
