Pupils at Geoffrey Field Infant School are friendly, polite and motivated to learn. Our staff are committed to the development of each individual pupil. Pupils receive a broad and balanced curriculum with a strong focus upon reading, writing, maths and spoken language. Pupils are taught to become successful learners with these attributes underpinning teaching and learning. Enrichment activities are used as a stimulus within many subjects including visits to Ufton Court, Rushall Farm and Reading Museum plus visits from musicians, artists and actors... We have approximately 320 pupils on roll across 10 classes, including a Nursery class. Pupils in the Nursery attend for 15 hours each week for either a morning or an afternoon session... We remain committed to the delivery of high quality teaching, learning and assessment so that each pupil achieves as well as s/he can. Our aim is to create confident and independent learners who actively participate, contribute and develop the skills..
