Dr. Dane Uhl grew up and currently lives in New Palestine, Indiana. He completed his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology at Ball State University, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2006. He then attended Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2010. Following dental school, Dr. Uhl was accepted into a highly competitive post-graduate program at the Indianapolis Veteran's Hospital. As a dental resident, Dr. Uhl received advanced training and experience in a wide scope of dental procedures, including working on many patients with significant medical needs. Dr. Uhl began working at German Church Road Family Dentistry late in 2012 and officially bought the practice in 2014. He and the entire staff at GCR Family Dentistry have a great professional relationship, and together, they enjoy working with their patients. It is their utmost goal to make their patients comfortable during their visits, and they strive to make patients feel like family. Dr. Uhl is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society. Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry is extremely important to Dr. Uhl and his team. This is accomplished through numerous continuing education courses and study clubs that Dr. Uhl attends on a regular basis. In his free time, Dr. Uhl enjoys spending quality time with his family. He and his wife, Shelly, have two beautiful little boys. Dr. Uhl enjoys watching sports, especially the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Pacers. He enjoys playing golf and tennis and traveling with his family.
