GRAND CENTRAL RAILROAD

We are the "Railroading" Interest Group in Sun City Grand. We enjoy running model trains, we love to have visitors to share the fun, and we are always looking for new members... We are from all walks of life... but we share a common interest in model trains. Put another way, we are a social group and the trains are simply the focal point... We are a designated Interest Group in The Grand. Our model railroad group began in 2004 with ten members. The Grand Community Association provided the space for the train layout and those original members laid the first few hundred feet of track. Now we have 40 members and the layout has developed to include approximately 1800 feet of track, landscaping, bridges and many buildings.
