Alberto Bortoluzzi

Born in 1961, Alberto Bortoluzzi's earliest collaboration with newspapers and magazines dates back to the early eighties. In 1987 he graduated in Geological Science; this degree was followed by a course of specialization in restoring stone and, subsequently, restoration projects involving important monuments of national interest. In 1993 he decided to devote himself entirely to photography; he thereafter took part in many workshops with internationally famous photographers, and he begun to specialize in black and white prints. His works have been published by numerous magazines. In 1999, he was the winner of a photographic competition run by the Regione Lombardia, "Lombardia effetto paesaggio" in the category "Parks, gardens, and woods".

Australian photographer Alex Cearns crafts exquisite animal portraits that convey the intrinsic joy people find in animals. As Creative Director of Perth based Houndstooth Studio, she photographs around 1300 animals per year. Her clients include engaged pet lovers, leading corporate brands and around 40 Australian and international animal charities and conservation organisations. Her images have been published extensively in worldwide media, books, magazines and ad campaigns. An undisputed leader in her niche, Alex is the recipient of more than 300 awards for her photography, business and philanthropy. Deeply committed to the wellbeing of all creatures great and small, Alex is considered one of Australia's most passionate champions and voices for animal rescue and wildlife conservation. Her advocacy and philanthropy were distinguished with a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) from the Council for the Order of Australia for her service to the community through charitable organisations. Alex is the published author of five books with next due for release in November 2020 with Harper Collins Australia. Her influence among animal lovers, photographers and the pet industry include a strong following on social media. An accomplished public speaker, Alex's warmth, humour and uplifting visual storytelling engages her audience in her passions for business, photography and animals. After almost a decade mentoring and coaching fellow photographers on how to achieve their business goals, Alex launched Black Cat Consulting and released her now sought after ‘Business Acceleration Program for Pet Photographers' to clients in Australia and North America. Alex is World Expedition's first female wildlife photography tour leader, taking likeminded animal lovers to some of the world's most exciting, ‘off the beaten track' animal destinations. She has travelled to all seven continents. When it comes to life and photography, Alex is dedicated, passionate and kind, with lightening fast humour and a huge sense of fun. She lives with her partner, two rescue dogs and rescue cat in Perth, Western Australia.

Eric Meola

Showcasing a portfolio of his colour images in its October 2008 issue, Rangefinder magazine referred to Eric as one of a "handful of color photographers who are true innovators." Eric Meola's graphic use of colour has formed his photographs and his distinguished career for more than four decades. His prints are in several private collections and museums, including the A.S.M.P. archive, the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., the International Center of Photography in New York, and the Museum of Modern Art in Munich. He has won numerous awards including the "Advertising Photographer of the Year" award from the American Society of Media Photographers. In 1972 he photographed Haiti for Time magazine, resulting in one of his most famous images, "Coca Kid," which was included in Life magazine's special 1997 issue "100 Magnificent Images." In 1980 he had his first major exhibit in New York at the "Space" gallery in Carnegie Hall, and his signature red, white and blue image "Promised Land," was chosen for inclusion in the permanent collection of the George Eastman House. In 1989 he was the only photographer named to Adweek magazine's national "Creative All-Star Team"; and that same year he received a "Clio" for a series of images he made in Scotland for a breakthrough campaign featuring the outerwear clothing of the Timberland company. "Fire Eater," his iconic image of the spotlit lips of a woman submerged in a tank of water, and commissioned by Almay cosmetics, was included in Robert Sobieszek's 1993 book on advertising The Art of Persuasion. As an undergraduate at Syracuse University, he studied colour printing and colour theory with legendary instructor Tom Richards at the Newhouse School of Journalism before graduating in 1968 with a B.A. in English Literature and then moving to NYC in 1969 to work with Pete Turner as his studio manager. A Canon "Explorer of Light," he has lectured extensively, including at Syracuse University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Brooks (Santa Barbara), the Art Center at Pasadena, Parsons, the Academy of Art College (San Francisco), the George Eastman House, and venues including PPA., WPPI, and A.S.M.P.

Herbie Yamaguchi

Herbie Yamaguchi was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1950. When he was in his second year of Junior high school, he joined the photography club. In 1973, after he graduated university, he went to London and spent 10 years there. He joined to the musical company and performed as an actor for a while. He encountered the movement of punk rock and the subculture, experiencing what many call the most exciting time period of London. In such a London life, he took portraits of musicians and lively scenes of London, those photos were highly appreciated. After returning to Tokyo, he continued to take photos of everyday people, while also take many musicians and artists in Japan. He has created many works of snapshot and portrait with monochrome photo. Many fans admire his gentle and natural style. Theme of his works, "I'd like to take photos of humanity's hope" and " I'd like to take photos that people love others", have never changed from junior high school to the present. In 2014, he was chosen as one of 140 photographers in the world who supported Leica's history at the photo exhibition "Eyes Wide Open! 100 Years of Leica Photography" commemorating the 100th anniversary of Leica. Besides creative photo activity, he also has been working as an essayist, radio, TV personality, and lyricist.
