Darren Palmer

Darren's career has spanned both the public and private sectors as well as a host of different business areas including local government, financial services, service & utilities and social landlords. Having originally qualified as an Environmental Health Officer, he ultimately took on the Chief Safety Officer role at Nationwide Building Society.

Laura Szreider - CFO

Laura has been part of the IPSL family since 2015, initially joining to support the company's journey to digital clearing. During her time with us, Laura has performed a number of different roles with a focus on transformation and long term strategic planning. Laura joined the EMT as Director of Finance in September 2021, leading the finance team and owning all aspects of budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and finance business partnering. Prior to joining IPSL, Laura trained in audit at KPMG, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2007. She then held roles at Nationwide Building Society, supporting Commercial Lending during the financial crisis of 2008, and also gained experience in treasury management at a large materials distribution business. Outside of work, Laura loves to spend time with her husband and two sons, and enjoys going to all kinds of live music, comedy and theatre.

Paul Rooney

As CIO for the organisation, Paul has a wide reaching remit including executing the strategic technological direction of the Board & CEO and finding the right solutions to deliver the strategy. He is responsible for the provision of stable and secure IT service, around the clock, to meet the needs and demands of our clients. Paul's remit also includes a change portfolio of programmes and projects, along with Cyber Security and the governance elements for IT, through his Office of the CIO team. As the Exec Sponsor for new business opportunities, Paul and a team of industry SMEs, explore provision of additional services for our existing client base, as well as welcoming potential new customers. Paul has over 30 years of experience in technology within financial services, and started his career with NatWest. He has a strong background in technology and change delivery, having worked on significant programmes, such as Order Driven Markets through the London Stock Exchange Sequence Program, Y2K, RBS/NWB integration, introduction of SEPA payments, Faster Payments refresh and Sanctions and AML initiatives, and is currently leading iPSL's strategic transformation to become a cloud business. Paul originates from the North West but has spent much of the last 30 years in London. When he gets time away from work, he enjoys spending any free time golfing, walking his dog and is a very passionate football fan.

Raymond Pettitt - CEO

As Chief Executive Officer of iPSL, Raymond is accountable to the Board to create and implement strategy, develop our culture, and ensure we deliver world class service for all our clients. Raymond has worked within financial services and previously the telecommunications industry since 1994, with major brands such as BT, Orange Mobile, First Direct and 15 years with Barclays Bank Plc, where he held several executive roles. His senior career at Barclays has involved leadership of significant businesses - 15,000 colleagues across branch and telephony, with a remit including global locations in the USA and India, and significant P+L responsibility for Customer Segments and Retail Products. Raymond is a proven transformational leader who creates and implements business strategy that transforms the performance of businesses across a range of key measures. By driving the transformation towards digital, automation, AI with the use of cloud capabilities and building on culture and people competencies, he creates competitive advantages for business, while ensuring that risk, security and regulatory requirements are never compromised Raymond has benefited from continuous professional development and consequently is an Alumnus of Leeds Business School, INSEAD - Paris and Stanford University Graduate School. Raymond lives in Harrogate, North Yorkshire with his wife and son, along with three dogs and two cats.

Rishi Gajree

Born and bred in Nottingham, Rishi is very proud and connected to his Indian heritage. He is blessed to have a reasonably big family and lives with his wife, three children and their dog, Milo. Before joining iPSL in 2008, Rishi worked for Barclays, Barclaycard and Capital One. Over the last 20 years Rishi has held various roles connected to building and heading Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) teams in the financial service industry. More recently he has taken on the Company Secretary and Procurement Director roles, in addition to Risk & Compliance. Rishi is immensely proud of the risk culture we have created at iPSL over recent years, with GRC considered and proven to be an important enabler for achieving great business outcomes, with collaboration at the heart of how we work. Rishi has benefited from learning from some great leaders and colleagues, as well as specialist professional development. He is passionate about leadership and developing teams, both to support iPSL and individual aspirations and is especially proud of the colleagues we have developed and promoted internally, with some progressing into senior positions both inside and outside of iPSL. Outside of work Rishi has a passion for sports, although sadly not playing anymore. Currently most of his free time is spent navigating the routines associated with the needs of a young family, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
