The Jefferson Automotive Group has been operating for over 40 years and has grown to be one of Melbourne's largest and most successful family owned automotive dealership groups... Originally established in 1980, Simon Jefferson began the company as a small Ford dealership on the Nepean Highway Bentleigh named "Jefferson Ford" employing just 40 people. Through hard work, local community support and clever marketing the business outgrew the Bentleigh address and moved 6 kms south to Mentone where the dealership still operates today, 29 years later.
