We travel to Nepal every year to visit our suppliers and their factories, so we know exactly where our products are coming from and who made them. We trade fairly and with transparency. We always pay suppliers a fair price and have not once backed out of a contract. Our producers are supported by us to use their skills to design products suitable for Western tastes, creating access to customers previously out of their reach. Reliable work with consistent orders means that we can create sustainable employment and long term investment in the Nepalese economy... With backgrounds in environmentalism and sociology, we both wanted a job that would do some good in the world. We work with village co-operatives and small family businesses in Nepal, providing long term sustainable employment. Karma Gear brings high-quality handmade clothing and accessories made by Nepali artisans to people in the UK and beyond!... We work with artisan makers in Nepal to design unique festival inspired fashion...
