Nearly 45 years ago, I walked into a new dental office in my hometown of Tawas City, Michigan, looking for a job. Jobs were hard to find in a small town, so I took a shot. To my surprise, I got a job cleaning the office after hours. I had a keen interest in the medical field, and being around all the neat things usually found in a dental office, I found this job fascinating. I was allowed to read the dental textbooks and learn how all the instruments were used. I eventually got to do lab work for the office. Then one day, my mentor, Dr. Mollard, asked if I would assist him. I jumped at the chance. I was grateful for the opportunity to actually be included in treating patients. I knew I could do this as a career, and from that day on, I worked to become the best dentist I could be.
After graduating from high school with honors, I went to Central Michigan University, and in 1979, I obtained my degree in applied arts and sciences. I have a biology major and a chemistry minor. I am also a graduate of C.M.U.'s prestigious University Honors program.
I received my D.D.S. degree in 1983 from the University of Detroit - School of Dentistry. I am a member of Delta Sigma Delta and S.C.A.D.A. While attending, I was also a student research assistant in the department of Human Anatomy and Physiology. I was also the editor of the school newspaper.

Dr. Goodman has been improving smiles here at MayFair Dental Associates for over five years now, but she has an illustrious 40+ years of experience in the oral healthcare field overall! She strives each and every day to create a welcoming dental home for patients, working alongside her fellow dentists and team members as a true family.
Dentistry has always been a huge part of Dr. Goodman's life, ever since she was a child. While growing up, she spent a lot of time in her father's practice and even helped out as a dental assistant. After completing an undergraduate degree in dental hygiene, she'd built up a strong knowledge base of preventive care and wanted to pursue her love of the field even further by becoming a dentist in her own right.
Dr. Goodman achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan Dental School in 1988 (go Blue). She has also received advanced training and extensive experience in a number of unique dental specialties over the years, including sleep apnea, geriatric dentistry, and military dental health. Her top priority as a dentist is to create an atmosphere of trust and comfort while also establishing long-lasting relationships with patients.
Dr. Goodman attends continuing education courses whenever possible to keep her skills sharp and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field. She is also the proud recipient of one of Hour Magazine's Top Dentist Awards for expertise in family dentistry from 2015 to 2018!
Dr. Goodman and her husband Stewart have two grown children named Justin and Lauren. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking, teaching religious school, going to the theater, watching University of Michigan and MSU football games, and doing just about anything with those she loves. She is also very passionate about community work and has even traveled as far as Samoa to provide important dental care to military personnel.
We are excited to announce that Dr. Mark Rosenberg has retired from dentistry after serving families in our community for decades. Dr. Rosenberg graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1979 and had been practicing dentistry for over 40 years. In 1986 Dr. Rosenberg started his private practice in the Keego Harbor - Lakes area and was a fixture in the community.
Dr. Rosenberg cared deeply for his patients and the community. Our goal is to respect his legacy and continue his tradition of kindness and care for our family of patients. While his presence in the office will be missed, the kindness he displayed here guarantees that he'll be remembered fondly. We want to thank Dr. Rosenberg for his dedication to our patients and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Our in-house periodontist, Dr. Mark Isler, is very passionate about educating his patients at every opportunity. He regularly shares his knowledge and expertise throughout appointments in order to help everyone choose the treatment plans that best fit their current needs and goals. In return, his patients greatly appreciate his gentle touch and the fact that they're able to receive personalized care in a comfortable, relaxed environment.
Dr. Isler participated in the six-year inteflex program at the University of Detroit Dental School, receiving both his Bachelor's of Science and his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After practicing in Dearborn, MI, he chose to return to the University of Detroit in order to enter the Graduate Periodontal Residency program, where he achieved his Master's of Science in Periodontics and became Board-Certified by the State of Michigan. His clinical work is widely celebrated and has even been published in the "Practical Procedures in Aesthetic Dentistry" peer-reviewed journal. He regularly pursued continuing education and has received certifications in conscious sedation and advanced anesthesia.
Dr. Mark Langberg was born and raised in the Detroit area and graduated 3rd in his class from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1977. He was awarded membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society honoring the top 5% of dentists nationwide, as well as the Arthur Merritt award in Periodontics.
Dr. Langberg has always been deeply committed to continuing education and in July 2016 he received his Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. The Mastership Award is the AGD's highest honor and one of the most respected designations within the profession. To earn this award, Dr. Langberg completed 1,100 hours of dental continuing education. He joins more than 2,300 active AGD Masters who have gone above and beyond the basic requirements to care for their patient's oral health.
He has attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the Hornbrook Center for Advanced Clinical Education multiple times to study the latest cosmetic and restorative procedures. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Society, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, an associate member of the Detroit District Dental Society, and a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Langberg has had advanced training in the dental management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and snoring and works closely with other medical professionals to treat OSA patients.
Dr. Langberg is dedicated to providing premium dental care for his patients in the most comfortable manner possible. For instance, he offers Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas), cable TV, headphones, CDs, and iPods during treatment. He has also been trained in the latest techniques for oral sedation, whereby your dentistry can be performed in the most relaxed and comfortable way possible, without anxiety and with little or no memory of your appointment. Dr. Langberg's high standards of excellence and personal integrity extend outside of his office as well. For example, he regularly calls his patients in the evening to make sure all is well.
Dr. Langberg provides decades of experience with a unique blend of leading-edge capabilities and knowledge in a warm, friendly atmosphere, and he is excited about the difference his dentistry makes in the quality of life of his patients. He and his wife, Lois, a retired dance instructor, have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.

With nearly 50 years of experience and counting in the world of dentistry, Dr. Robert Wood's talents are truly unmatched. In addition to his clinical expertise, he is also a master laboratory ceramic technician who enjoys designing and creating beautiful works of art to restore and enhance your smile.
After earning his Bachelor of Arts from Albion College in 1966, Dr. Wood pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Washington University Dental School. He was trained by one of the best dentists in the world, Dr. Sam Guyer, and became a master ceramist while attending dental school. He also studied osteopathic manipulation with Dr. Viola Frymann at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, CA.
WDr. Wood is married and has two adult children. Outside of work, he has always had a deep love for cooking and is also a single digit handicap golfer. He sees a lot of deep-sea fishing in his future as well. Despite his age, he's definitely young at heart!.
