Ana is happy to have join and be part of the Laurier Dental team. She has 25 years of progressive dental receptionist experience and is fluent in both English and Portuguese. She has son and daughter and grand puppy Milo. In her spare time she likes to go on hikes.

Dr. Michael Wang is proud to join the Laurier Dental team!
Dr. Wang obtained his Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology from McMaster University in Hamilton, followed by the completion of his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in Michigan at Detroit Mercy Dental School. There he gained invaluable experiences and extensive training in wisdom teeth extractions, root canal therapy, conservative restorative dentistry and Invisalign.
He is a strong believer of patient-centered comprehensive care and is always staying current with modern dentistry.
Joan Aitken travelled from Yorkshire England and has been employed by Dr. Tenaschuk for over 30 years.
The voice and office manager for Laurier Dental, Joan is the proud mother of two sons and a daughter. In addition to working for Laurier Dental, Joan has been the Executive Secretary for the Halton Peel Dental Association (Canada's Largest Dental Component Society) and is affectionately known as "mom" by many of the member dentists.
Joan was recently honoured by the Ontario Dental Association, receiving the Aileen Durham Award for dedication and contribution to the dental profession by a non dentist. Joan is the first award recipient from a Component Society of the Ontario Dental Association in 150 years.
She welcomes all patients, new and old to Laurier Dental and is committed to providing excellence in ongoing patient service.
Phenomenol dentists and personnel at this clinic.I called Monday morning with an emergency, they were thankfully able to squeeze me in for an examination to determine the problem. Once determined, they were able to book me for an extraction the very next morning.The procedure was done with Dr Summer. The entire procedure she was very professional, excellent care manner. Once the procedure began, it was only about 10 minutes until my tooth was fully extracted. No pain, no fuss, it was over before I knew it!Thank you so much Laurier Dental and Dr Summer, you've given me back my quality of life with one simple procedure!

Mena is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Niagara College with honors. Through her academic journey, she was able to achieve the Niagara College Volunteer and leadership Award, as well as, the Dental Staff Award which is presented to a graduate student who demonstrates strength of character, integrity, and determination of studies. She is very passionate about her field and loves helping her patients achieve and maintain optimum oral health. Mena is a very family-oriented person and loves spending time with family on her days of. She also loves traveling! In her graduating year, Mena traveled to Ecuador along side an amazing team of health care professionals to participate in health campaigns and provide oral health education to some of the less fortunate populations in Guayaquil and other surroundings cities

Shelley graduated from Durham College from the dental assistant program in 1992. She upgraded her certification to CDA level ll in 2006 at George Brown. She likes to spend time with her husband and 3 kids watching her boys play hockey and her daughter play rep soccer. She also likes to workout in her spare time.
