Beth has been at Martock Dental Nurse for just under 20 years! Beth works as an Implant Nurse alongside Ewan.
Beth lives with her partner and two daughters.
Carole is one of our longest serving members of the team and has been at Martock Dental Practice for over 20 years. Formerly a Dental Nurse at the practice, Carole now works on reception 2 days a week.
Dr Efstratios (Stratos) Mylanos qualified in 2017 from Slovakia and went on to do his post-graduation in Oral Surgery at the University of Plymouth. He comes from a long line of dentists in his family in Greece. He served as a military as well as a civilian dentist in Thessaloniki after he qualified. With a special interest in Oral surgery, he spends most of his days treating complex surgical cases receiving referrals from other general dentists. He also works as a clinical supervisor at Peninsula Dental School teaching undergraduate students. He is currently pursuing a further postgraduate qualification in Dental Implantology from the University of New York. He lives with his wife and young daughter and enjoys running, skiing and sailing.
Ewan has been at Martock Dental Practice since 2019. He qualified from Cardiff in 1985 and for 20 years ran his own practice in Bristol.
Ewan has been placing dental implants since 1991, placed well over 250 implants and underwent training both in the UL, Italy and Switzerland. He is always happy to offer consultations to new or interested patients to explore what options are available. Ewan enjoys listening to and playing music in his spare time.

- Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry
Jayne qualified in 1989 from Victoria University, Manchester and later achieved specialist status in 2000 after completing MFDS, RCS (Glas) in Paediatric Dentistry. She has since worked as a senior dental officer in the north of England before moving down south, covering various Community Dental settings. She also has routinely taught and lectured at Birmingham Dental School on Paediatric dentistry and dental sedation. She enjoys treating emotional, physical and medical special needs children, referred by other team members and local dental practitioners. Jayne has had several publications in acclaimed national and international dental journals. Jayne is now settled in Somerset with her husband and three daughters.
Dr Samantha Marks qualified with Distinction from the University of Leeds and prior to this studied Pharmacology BSc at the University of Liverpool.
In addition to practicing minimally invasive general dentistry, she also offers clear aligners for tooth straightening and tooth whitening. She enjoys treating children and anxious patients and her relaxed, calming manner puts patients at ease.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys kayaking and exploring the coast with her husband and two dachshund dogs. In her younger days, Samantha was a recipient of a piano scholarship to the prestigious Chetham's School of Music in Manchester and has previously been a church organist for twelve years across Manchester and Yorkshire.
Dr Sarah Manley joined Martock Dental Practice in 2019. Sarah qualified from Cardiff in 1994. She enjoys getting to know her patients and providing them with the most appropriate treatment and takes great pride in preventing dental conditions.
She has lived in Somerset for over 20 years with her husband and 2 teenage children, in her free time she enjoys cooking and reading books.
Dr Terri Reed graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2021 and previously received a first-class bachelor's degree in Biology. Terri is interested in Restorative Dentistry and is keen to pursue this further, with a particular interest in Endodontics. She enjoys treating children and is a keen advocate for disease prevention, as well as providing clear aligners for straightening teeth.
Terri is a Somerset girl and loves all aspects of country life. In her spare time, she is a keen equestrian and is currently bringing on her young horse to compete at the grassroots level of Eventing.
Florence joined the team in 2019 as a trainee Dental Nurse and qualified in 2021.
Florence recently got married and lives with her husband and their young son.
Grace is a trainee Dental Nurse and has been with us for 1 and 1/2 years. She is nearing the end of her training course and enjoys all aspects of dentistry.

Jane has been part of the Martock Dental team since 2017 and is one of our dental hygienists. Jane trained in the RAF and now lives in Somerset with her husband and two grown up children. She takes particular interest in treating periodontal disease alongside our dentists. Jane is also our smoking cessation advisor and is happy to give advice to anyone interested.

Kirsty has been at Martock Dental Practice since 2019 and is one of our dental hygienists. Kirsty qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Liverpool in 2004. She works closely alongside our dentists to give you the best quality of care and advice. Kirsty lives in Somerset with her husband, son and their dog.
Lauren is our Lead Dental Nurse at Martock Dental Practice and has been with us for 4 and 1/2 years. In her spare time, she likes to enjoy family days with her husband and young son. Lauren enjoys going to music gigs and festivals.
Lisa joined the team in April 2020 as a qualified Dental Nurse with 15 years experience.
Lisa recently qualified as a Sedation Nurse.
Receptionist
Michelle joined the team in August 2022 as a full-time receptionist.
She moved to Somerset from Worthing her husband and has 3 grown-up children.

Millie is a trainee Dental Nurse and joined the practice in February 2024.

Lakshmi joined Martock Dental Practice in 2016 as an associate Dentist before becoming the Principal Dentist in 2019. Lakshmi qualified from India in 2007 before moving to the UK. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly dealing with minimally invasive and complex restorative dentistry.
Apart from general dentistry, Lakshmi also offers clear aligners for tooth straightening such as Invisalign, clear correct and 32co. Lakshmi is married and lives with her husband and two young boys and enjoys baking in her spare time.
Naomi joined the Martock Dental Practice in November 2023 and is one of our 3 dental hygienists. Naomi qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapists from Bristol in June 2023.
Sarah joined Martock Dental Practice in 2019 as the Practice Manager. Previous to this she was a Dental Nurse and has 10 years clinical experience. When not in the office you will find Sarah spending time with her young family.
Sydnee is one of our trainee Dental Nurses and is nearing the end of her training course. She has been with us for over a year now and is enjoying her study. Syd lives with her mum and 5 cats.
Wendy joined the practice in April 2022 and has nearly completed her dental nursing qualification.
Wendy lives with her husband and 3 children.
