Dr Carl Peters is a specialist endocrinologist and diabetologist with particular expertise in the management of diabetes in pregnancy, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, lipid and endocrine disorders. After training as an endocrinologist in New Zealand, Dr Peters moved to the UK to work as a clinician and clinical researcher at the Institute for Cellular Medicine, Newcastle University. His research work focused on remission of type 2 diabetes.

Associate Professor Geoff Braatvedt is an Endocrinologist, Diabetologist and Physician working at Green Lane and Auckland City Hospitals and in private practice at the Mercy Specialist Centre. He was also a Director and reporting Doctor for Auckland Bone Densitometry. He did his undergraduate training in Cape Town (MbChB 1981 with Honours), and after 5 years of post-graduate training in South Africa, moved to the UK in 1986 for specialist training ( MRCP 1987 and MD 1991). He moved to Auckland in 1992 and was appointed to a specialist post in 1992 (FRACP 1992). He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2002. He has an active teaching role at the medical school, and has research interests in many aspects of Endocrinology with >65 published papers.

Dr Stephanie Cox is a specialist physician in Obstetric Medicine, Endocrinology/Diabetes and Internal Medicine, currently working at Auckland City Hospital and in private at Mercy Specialist Centre starting October 2022.
Stephanie attended Medical School at the University of Auckland and completed dual specialist physician training in General Medicine and Endocrinology, through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, at Rotorua, Christchurch and Waikato Hospitals before returning to Auckland to complete a fellowship in Obstetric Medicine at National Women's Health. She was awarded the SOMANZ Certificate of Obstetric Medicine in 2016.
Stephanie is currently Clinical Lead for the Diabetes in Pregnancy Service, Health NZ Te Toka Tumai (formerly ADHB) and is an experienced Obstetric Physician who is passionate about helping patients and their whānau plan and achieve healthy pregnancies.
