I'm Michael Horner, born and raised in Addison County, Vermont. After spending my adolescence practicing carpentry on job sites around Vermont, I worked for a high-end architectural millwork company, installing cabinetry and doors in the greater NYC area. In 2012, I started my own woodworking business, in order to provide the same care and quality of woodworking for clients that reside closer to home... My ultimate focus is balancing aesthetic and function. I thrive in creating and building completely unique pieces that are to be treasured for generations. The process of design and creation is as satisfying as seeing a finished piece installed. I thoroughly enjoy the process of meeting with clients and collaborating on designs, whether it be hand sketches, scanning books, or browsing images on the web to search for our perfect composition... custom cabinetry and doors based in the mountains of vermont, servicing new england and new york
