NEBT - Key Persons
Aitor trained at CPD Carmen Amaya (Madrid) and Central School of Ballet. They have danced with Ballet Central, English National Ballet and at the Royal Opera House.
Aitor's repertoire includes Wayne Eagling's Nutcracker, Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty, Kenneth McMillan's Valley of Shadows, Christopher Gable's Cinderella, Wayne McGregor's Far and Jenna Lee's Black Swan. They have also danced in the operas Death in Venice by David McVicar, Jenufa by Claus Guth and Nabucco by Daniele Abbado.
Aitor was a member of NEBT's 2018 and 2019 seasons.
CHAIRMAN: Alastair Macpherson After university he joined leading international law firm Ashurst Morris Crisp (now Ashurst). Admitted as a solicitor in 1971, he was made a partner in 1974.
British film-maker Alice Pennefather spent 6 years travelling and working abroad, focusing on scuba diving and filming underwater. Returning to London in 2011 she rediscovered her love of dance and movement.
With several years' experience photographing for companies such as The Royal Ballet, Garsington Opera, Ballet Cymru and NEBT, she has also developed her skills with moving image above and below the water on several commercials, major BBC and ITV dramas, short films and major feature films. Her short dance films have gone on to achieve official acceptance to film festivals worldwide and won several awards.
Camino trained at Centre de Dansa de Catalunya. She has performed with Balletto del Sud, the Tivoli Ballet Theatre in Copenhagen, Viviana Durante Company and, most recently, Delattre Dance Company in Mainz.
Her repertoire includes roles in José Carlos Martínez's The Nutcracker (with Compañía Nacional de Danza in Madrid), The Sleeping Beauty, La Giara and L'après-midi d'un faune.
Camino was part of NEBT's 2019, 2020 and 2021 companies.
Dan trained at The Royal Ballet School (2008-2013) and graduated in 2016 from Laine Theatre Arts.
His roles include The Nutcracker, The Grand Defile and Coppelia as well as Cats The Musical at Dubai Opera House.

Daniela Cardim is a Brazilian/British choreographer and manager based in London. Born in Rio de Janeiro, she danced with Ballet do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro and with Dutch National Ballet, in Amsterdam.
Cardim has a first class BA degree in Arts Management. She worked as Company Manager at NEBT from 2013 to 2020, and and has been Assistant Director since early 2022.

Dylan started dancing at his mother's dance school ‘Nichols School of Dance' and continued his training at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
Dylan worked with Christopher Bruce (CBE) and Paul Liburd in 2019 for a restaging of Stream, which was performed at The Royal Opera House's Linbury Theatre and Sadler's Wells Lilian Baylis Studio. Dylan has worked with companies including SETanztheater Nuremberg, Ballet Folk UK, Eliot Smith Dance, Mark Bruce Company, Ockham's Razor and, most recently, Fabula Collective for their premiere of Momentum at Sadler's Wells.
Genevieve was a member of NEBT's 2020 and 2021 companies.
Giorgia trained at the Young Dancers Academy London and graduated from the Dance School of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma before joining the ENBS Graduate Programme.
She was part of NEBT's 2021 season.
Helga has been working in the arts and heritage sectors for more than 20 years; roles including marketing, PR, dramaturgy, public engagement and fundraising.
She has worked with tanzhaus nrw and Ballett Kiel (both Germany), Pavilion Dance South West, Hofesh Shechter Company and Stopgap Dance Company, among others. In 2018, Helga launched her own Arts Marketing Consultancy, The Write Brandt.

Luke Rittner was Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Dance from 1999 to April 2022. Previously he was Secretary General of the Arts Council of Great Britain (1983-1990), Communications Director for Sotheby's Europe (1992-1998) and in previous years has run the Bath Festival. He was also Founder-Director of the Association for Business Sponsorship of the Arts (now Arts & Business).
Karen is the Founding Director of The New English Ballet Theatre. She holds a degree in education and is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD).
Karen grew up in Washington D.C. She joined Seattle Ballet after finishing her degree in Dance Education at the University of Washington. After leaving Seattle Ballet, Karen moved to England as a freelance dancer and choreographer and opened the Knightsbridge Ballet School, which she ran successfully for 12 years. Parallel to her successful business career, Karen ran her own performance company and has choreographed for ballet, opera and the BBC.
In 2010, Karen founded New English Ballet Theatre (NEBT) as a reaction to a perceived lack of career opportunities for emerging ballet dancers and choreographers. A registered charity, NEBT's mission is it to nurture and develop young talent in dance, choreography, music and design by providing high quality stage experience in a nurturing company setting. No other UK company is focused solely on contributing to the development of new ballet choreography alongside emerging talent.
Kiki McDonough is a leading British jewellery designer. Established in 1985, her brand Kiki McDonough was born from her passion for showcasing coloured gemstones in innovative, contemporary designs, and she continues to lead the way in British fine jewellery design. Her love of the ballet has inspired many of Kiki's designs, and she supports the art as both a Patron of the Royal Opera House and Sponsor of the London Children's Ballet. Kiki is a Princes Trust Business mentor and often gives talks on How to Build a Brand.
Kristina Rogge spent many years fundraising for English National Ballet School, the Dyslexia Teaching Centre, Miracles in Bosnia, the Montenegral Therapeutic Community in Southern Spain and latterly the Cecchetti Legacy Project.

Margaret Andraos is a fundraising consultant with more than 30 years of experience in Development, working with the Royal Opera House, English National Ballet and London City Ballet.
Orlando was accepted into the Royal Ballet Lower School aged twelve. Since then he has trained at The Russian Choreographic Academy in Melbourne and completed his training at Central School Of Ballet.
Orlando's first professional contract was with the Oleg Davovski National Opera in Constanta, Romania. On his return to the UK he joined Ballet Theatre UK and was also offered a contract for Viviana Durante's Seven Deadly Sins. He is currently touring with English Youth Ballet in the role of Hilarion in Giselle.
Orlando was a member of NEBT's 2020 company.
Patrick trained at KS Dance.
He has been performing in KS Dance Productions, with Allegrodance Touring Company and with Étoile Ballet Theatre since 2018.
His roles include The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet and Peter and the Wolf, among others.

Simon Weil is a Partner at Charles Russell Speechlys specialising in trusts, philanthropies and charities.
Susan was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, before moving to the UK in 2019 to pursue a Master's in Ancient History. While at university, Susan discovered a love of working behind the scenes, producing and stage-managing several productions with the Sydney University Musical Theatre Society, before expanding to work with other companies in Sydney. Susan began her career in arts administration, working with Constella OperaBallet in 2022, and is now excited to start a new chapter with NEBT.
Tim trained at Elmhurst Ballet School and has been an Apprentice at the Estonian National Ballet.
His roles include Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Anna Karenina and Alice in Wonderland.
