The Office of Accessible Education (OAE) is the campus entity designated to work with Stanford students with disabilities, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels (including the professional schools). The OAE provides an array of support services, accommodations, and programs to remove barriers to full participation in the life of the University... The mission of the Office of Accessible Education (OAE) is to promote an accessible and inclusive environment for all students with disabilities. Through both academic and housing accommodations, we work to mitigate physical and attitudinal barriers that students might face. We are dedicated to supporting students with disabilities to give them the opportunity to perform at their highest academic potential. We also strive to promote the inclusive environment they need to experience full membership in our diverse Stanford community.
