After studying Law and European Studies at the University of Limerick Barbara graduated in 2001 with an LLB (honours) degree, apprenticing with Patrick McCarthy & Co Cork before joining O'Donovan, Murphy & Partners Solicitors LLP in 2005.
Cliodhna joined O'Donovan Murphy & Partners in early 2019. She is a native of West Cork and served her Apprenticeship with a West Cork firm, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2007. Prior to joining O'Donovan Murphy & Partners she practised in firms in West Cork and Cork City.
Flor graduated from UCC with a BCL Degree (Hons) in 1982 and apprenticed to the firm's founder Denis O'Donovan qualifying as a solicitor in 1985. Flor continued to work as an assistant solicitor for Denis O'Donovan until being made a partner in 1989, the new partnership became O'Donovan Murphy & Partners Solicitors. Flor is now the Managing Partner of O'Donovan, Murphy & Partners Solicitors LLP.
Luke graduated from UCC in 2007 with an Honours BCL Degree having attended the evening Degree Course. Luke joined the firm of O'Donovan Murphy & Partners, Solicitors LLP in 2008 as a trainee Solicitor indentured to Florence Murphy, passing the Law Society Professional Practice Course Apprenticeship Programme and Qualifying as a Solicitor in 2011.
Since qualification Luke has completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Banking Law and Practice and now offers specialist advice and services in this area to both banks, borrowers, corporate entities and private individuals. Expert knowledge in the area of Banking Regulation, Lending Practices, Securitisation and Default Options and Consequences has led to a major area of growth for the practice recently.
Luke specialises in Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Banking and Insolvency Law, Probate/Administration of Estates, Commercial and Company Law as well as Litigation. Luke also has a special interest in Employment Law.
Margaret graduated with a BCL Degree (Hons) from University College Cork in 1988 and apprenticed to Flor Murphy qualified as a solicitor in 1993, making partner in O'Donovan Murphy & Partners Solicitors LLP by 1998 Margaret is a full-time solicitor, with 23 years work experience in conveyancing / property law and particular flair for agri-conveyancing and conveyancing-litigation areas.
Mary Jo graduated with a BCL Degree (Hons) from University College Cork in 1985 and qualified as a solicitor in 1990 after apprenticing with Denis O'Donovan, Mary Jo worked as an associate until being made a partner in 1998. Mary Jo provides a full range of legal services, but specialises in Conveyancing and Property Law and leads the Conveyancing and Property Law team.
Siuin graduated with an Honours LLB Degree from University of London in and is qualified to practice as a solicitor in Ireland, England and Wales. Siuin also holds a Certificate in Mediation and is a qualified Notary Public.
