Andrew Manchee

Andrew has worked in Financial Markets for 30 years. He began in Research at BZW/ABN Amro before moving to Derivatives. He worked on the Sydney Futures Floor and then as an Institutional Equity Option Advisor. Andrew then moved to Trading, covering both individual stock and risk portfolio facilitation. A dedicated Proprietary Trading role followed. After 12 years with BZW/ABN Amro, Andrew moved to Citigroup as a Proprietary Trader for 5 years. Since then, Andrew has focused on adding value with highly regarded market insights to Institutional Investors, Hedge Funds and Professional Traders. He was most recently at BTIG for over 8 years. Andrew brings to PAC Partners solid relationships with leading Portfolio Managers and Traders. His diverse background gives him a reputation for adding value in the Large/Mid-Cap space. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Sydney.

Andrew Shearer

Andrew has been involved in the mining and finance industries for 20 years. Coupled with geoscience and finance qualifications he has experience in the resources industry, from exploration through to production. Andrew has been exposed to the global resources sector covering micro to mid cap resources stocks; from exploration through to producing companies, across a broad suite of commodities. Prior to moving into the finance sector Andrew spent over a decade working in the minerals exploration industry in technical and senior management roles and has developed a deep network of industry contacts across the resources sector. Andrew has degrees in Geology, Geophysics and an MBA.

Brooke Picken

Brooke has 19 years of industry experience and strong relationships with both institutional and corporate clients. Brooke commenced her career at Austock in the Research team, before moving to Austock's Private Equity team, and then onto the Institutional desk. Brooke has spent the last 13 years working on a number of ECM transactions, having a strong understanding of corporate structuring and has assisted a number of companies across a broad range of industries to raise capital across the debt and equity spectrum.

Caleb Weng

Caleb is an Associate Analyst with over 6 years' industry experience in general industrials, tech and microcaps having previously worked at APP Securities, EverBlu Capital and ASR Wealth. He has also previously worked as a financial analyst in commerce. Caleb holds a Bachelor of Professional Accounting and Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Master of Financial Analysis from University of New South Wales. He is a CFA Level II Candidate.

Craig Stranger - Chairman, Founder

As co-founder of PAC Partners and Executive Chairman since formation, Craig has 20+ years experience across equities research and equity capital markets. Craig has strong relationships with many emerging and mid-market companies on the ASX, and also with institutional and high net worth investors. Craig was Head of Research and Head of ECM at the feeder business to PAC Partners. Craig is actively involved and has led a large number of IPO's and capital raisings at PAC Partners, from RTO's (Bubs, Andromeda), IPO's (Althea, Northern Cobalt) and Placements (dozens, including Select Harvests, Bubs, Titomic, Tech Metals, Kidman, LBT, Compumedics…) Craig is interested in servicing & raising capital for under-covered high growth & well managed businesses with user friendly executives. He also oversees the in-house PAC investment fund, which has returned exceptionally high returns since formation. Actively involved or run IPO's including Gerard Lighting (+$70m raise), Cuesta Coal ($24m), Cellestis. Equity Raisings in 2014 included Select Harvests ($47m, JLM), Advanced Braking & Investigator Resources. Craig is interested in servicing & raising capital for under-covered high growth & well managed businesses.

Daniel Gadalla

Daniel has 5 years' experience working in the financial services industry. Formerly at Bell Potter Securities where he worked within the Foreign Exchange Dealing team, Daniel has a strong passion for equities and trading. As part of the dealing team, Daniel supports institutional and high net worth trading. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Banking & Finance) degree from Monash University and is RG146 compliant.

James Gurry

James has 20 years' experience as an equity analyst at top tier investment banks covering diversified mining, energy and industrials companies in Australia and Europe. For 7 years in London, James held the role as Head of Mining Research at Credit Suisse before returning to Australia in 2018 to take a similar role at Deutsche Bank where he also covered Australia's leading oil and gas companies. James is known for strong corporate relationships and linking investors and corporates through effective corporate access programs. Since 2019, James has been a Non-Executive Director of Pilbara-based iron-ore company Flinders Mines (ASX:FMS). James has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Melbourne University, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & NZ.

James Holyman

James has over 5 years' experience working in the financial services industry. Prior to PAC, James worked at Sequoia Financial Group where he gained experience in trading as a Equities and Options Dealer and finished up as a Senior Manager running the trading desk. James holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (Finance) from the University of Sydney and is RG 146 compliant.

James Wilson

James has been in stockbroking for 30 years. He started in the research department at Potter Partners/UBS in 1989, then moving into Institutional Research Sales a few years later where he has remained since. His experience in Institutional Sales includes 5 years in London with BZW/ABN Amro; 4 years with Wilson HTM in Sydney; and, over 11 years with Austock/Phillip Capital where he ran the sales teams for the last 5 years. His ongoing and long term coverage of the micro/small/mid cap space means James brings to PAC Partners strong relationships with most relevant fund managers in Australian small caps and has a good understanding of their processes and focus. James holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University.

Josh Gordon

Josh has 5 years' experience working in the financial services industry and strong relationships with management of many nano and microcap companies on the ASX. Josh is very well versed in all facets of the ECM transaction lifecycle with deep experience in transaction origination, structuring, execution and distribution. Lawrence Grech

Lawrence has over 35 years' experience in financial markets. He has extensive experience in buy side investing in multi-billion dollar funds as Head of Resources with Deutsche Asset Management and earlier, BT Australia. He co-established a private global infrastructure and energy fund and developed a global resource fund for Macquarie Bank. In sell-side research he was Lead Regional Energy Analyst for County NatWest (now Citi group). Lawrence was formerly Head of Australian Research with Phillip Capital and resources analyst with the predecessor, Austock, with whom the PAC Partners principals worked at for over a decade. Lawrence provides bespoke research of emerging companies and industries in transition that span energy to new materials. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Mark Pashley

Mark has over 20 years' experience in financial markets. He started his finance career with 8 years in funds management at Tyndall/Nikko Asset Management. Mark then moved into Broking with Deutsche Bank and for the last 8 years at Austock/Phillip Capital specialising in Equity Sales with a focus on small to mid cap ASX-listed stocks. Mark holds a Diploma in Financial Markets.

Paul Jensz - Founder

Paul has over 30 years' experience in developing and financing Primary Industries in Australia and Asia. He initially spent 10 years with Rio Tinto, and moved to corporate broking with County Natwest/Citigroup, Austock/Phillip Capital and was a founding director of PAC Partners. Paul has built the leading Australian Agribusiness and Life Science franchise covering small through to large companies. This has been recognized by "AFR/Starmine" Research Analyst Awards with a top three ranking. All industries he is associated have tremendous growth off shore and interact strongly with vibrant unlisted Australian and New Zealand companies. His platform has linked Australasia's leaders in agribusiness, life science, sustainable energy with investors for over $1bn of equity raising.

Peter Ward

Peter has 25+ years professional experience in equities sales, corporate finance, research and stock broking/trading with a primary focus on the wholesale and institutional markets both in Australia and SE Asia. Peter has developed considerable industry experience across the small cap markets with particular knowledge of the industrial, financial services, healthcare, agriculture, energy and technology sectors, having advised on and completed multiple capital raisings in support of companies growth initiatives. Prior to joining PAC, Peter held senior institutional research sales and corporate advisory roles with leading small cap equities houses Southern Cross Equities and Austock Group and Henslow.

As an analyst, Phil has covered a number of companies across the industrial and resource sectors from micro-cap explorers to mid-cap producers. Prior to becoming an analyst. Phil gained significant technical, operational, commercial and financial experience working in senior roles for a number of producing miners and mining services companies. Phil has a broad knowledge across commodities, geographical regions and the life cycle of a resource project from exploration through to production. Phil holds a BSc and an MBA.

Ryan Gale

Ryan has been spent 10 years in the financial services industry and currently deals to institutional and wholesale at PAC Partners Melbourne. Prior to PAC Partners, Ryan held advisory roles with AMP Capital and specialised in managed investments and exchange traded funds. Since 2009, he has also gained valuable experience in South America being involved on various resource deals when involved with boutique corporate advisory group Allegra Capital. Ryan has a strong focus on deal structuring and raising capital for early stage companies with pathways to IPO's. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Notre Dame and is RG146 compliant.

Sean Kennedy

Sean has over 20 years' experience advising clients across a broad range of transactions, including M&A, ECM and corporate strategy development assignments. Prior to Corporate Finance, Sean worked within a Private Equity team, and as a Management Consultant in a global Strategy Consulting practice. Earlier, he worked at Austock Securities and Bell Potter. Sean has worked on a number of different transactions in the financial services, insurance, general industrial, manufacturing, education, agribusiness, life sciences & technology, energy and resources sectors.

Shane Bannan

Shane is an analyst with more than 40 years' experience across resources, industrials and strategy roles at a number of the major investment banks, having stints as Head of Research at UBS and what is now JP Morgan (nee Ord Minnett Institutional). He has at various points over that time been top rated (i.e. No 1 as per independent 3rd Party surveys) by the major investment institutions including as Bank Analyst and Head of Small Caps Team; and highly rated (top 3) as a Diversified Industrials Analyst. Shane holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Western Australia, majoring in Accounting and Finance and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia for the past 40 years.

Stephen Scott

Stephen has worked both as a Microcap/Technology Fund Manager, Equity Analyst and Head of Research roles. Stephen previously worked at K2 Asset Management and Contango in Melbourne. His previous roles in broking include Head of Research at Ord Minnett and Head of Research at LINWAR (ANZ). Stephen has also worked as an analyst and fund manager in London and New York for Deutsche Asset Management (DWS). Stephen holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and is a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FFin).

William Cross
