PLATINUM DANCE SCHOOL

Until 2010, we were known as Portland Dance School, but as the school expanded from Portland to Weymouth and Preston, we decided that the school needed a new name, so Platinum Dance School was formed. In 2016 Liane and Tegan qualified to teach Acrobatic Arts, so Platinum Dance & Acrobatics School (PDAS) became the updated name... Having taken over what was Portland Dance School in July 2008, Liane and Platinum Dance School have achieved many new and exciting ventures. As a school we have held numerous shows both at Weymouth College and Weymouth Pavilion, giving our students the chance to showcase their talents. As well as this, we hold assessment days and an awards afternoon. We can also enter students for ISTD exams if they so wish. Children also have the chance to dance and compete in Weymouth Dance Festival, and over the past couple of years we have had several of our students placed.
