Ahmed El Awadly is a highly professional leader having over 25 years management experience with organisations across the USA, Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
He has held positions such as general manager, division head and president and has worked for multinational corporations including United Food Industries. Before joining us, he was a distinguished executive training consultant for Dale Carnegie and won several regional awards for his achievements.
Ahmed El Awadly holds a BSc from San Francisco State University in International Business and Marketing.

Amer Sabic joined Xylon in early 2007 as head of production tasked with overhauling the existing production process and the tracking of materials. Promoted to company director in 2008, he continues to oversee the company's production but focuses on product and production processing development and international sales development to reach the company's growth targets.
Amer is a mechanical engineer from the University of Sarajevo, specialising in wood processing.

Christer Sundstrom joined Plena Group in 2008.
He was previously CEO of Nordkalk (third largest lime product producer in the world) and part of the lead team of the leveraged buyout of Nordkalk where he created a return for the shareholder in excess of 50% IRR. Today, using his experience and network, Christer is a vital part of our vision to build a strong construction material/mineral group.
As the general manager of AAC producer Ytong Bulgaria, Nikolav Kolev increased the company's market share from 2% to 25% and made it the most profitable Eastern European operation in the Ytong AG Group. Over the last ten years as managing director of Ognyanovo K-AD, he has created a successful and profitable company that's now the market leader in the lime and limestone market in Bulgaria.
Dr Kolev has an MSc degree from the University of Sofia, and a PhD in Economics.
Karl Fässler has worked with us for over 15 years as a senior advisor for tax, investment opportunities, networking and structural related issues.
His extensive network and expertise enables us to find workable and efficient solutions to our group and financing structures, wherever we operate. Karl was previously finance minister in one of Switzerland's most prestigious Cantons.
Marc Lamesch is one of the most esteemed experts in international accounting in Luxembourg and with his network finds optimal structural solutions.
Marc is a long serving board member in Plena Group, and his contribution to its growth continues to be highly valuable.

Mattias Sjoborg began his career at RMC plc where he led teams in the restructuring of group operations.
He joined Plena Group in 2001, and has led teams through due diligence, negotiation and the restructuring of a large Eastern European privatisation. Mattias has nearly 15 years' investment experience in origination, due diligence and structuring cross border transactions related to privately held companies and privatisations, in predominantly emerging markets. He has an MBA degree from IMD Lausanne, Switzerland.
