QUILL PR - Key Persons
Emma joined Quill in January 2018 from Citigate Dewe Rogerson, where she was a Director in the Corporate Practice.
With over 20 years' public relations experience in London and Sydney, including Broadgate Mainland (now Four Broadgate), Porter Novelli and Sefiani Communications Group, Emma has advised a number of clients predominantly in the investment, retail banking and wealth management sectors in a variety of pan-European, APAC and UK-focused campaigns.
Emma joined Quill as Account Executive in September 2022. A graduate of Birmingham City University, where she studied Fashion Branding and Communication, Emma brings to the team digital media skills with experience in creative design across media.
Emma provides background administrative support to the whole team and Quill clients, alongside day to day media outreach and the running of Quills social media.
Fiona founded Quill PR in January 2000 having previously held senior roles at Grandfield Rork Collins, Financial Strategy (now FTI Consulting) and Citigate.
With over 30 years' financial services PR experience, Fiona has a strong track-record of delivering strategic solutions with both growing and established brands. She has extensive experience in steering clients through times of corporate change and in crisis management.
Golam joined Buchanan in 1993 and was appointed as Finance Director a year later. He has extensive experience in the financial communications sector having worked for some of the major City Financial communications companies since 1980. Golam oversaw the sale of Buchanan to WPP in 1997.
Golam sits on the Quill board as Finance Director.
Nick joined Quill in April 2017, having worked in-house at one of Europe's fastest growing tech start-ups. He has more than 13 years of agency experience, managing national and international campaigns for financial and professional services organisations. At Quill, he advises a range of clients, from global asset management houses to independent Asia-focused investment specialists.
A University of Manchester graduate, Nick also spent a year studying in Bologna.

Richard is one of the UK's leading financial PR advisers. He joined Buchanan in 1984 with an investment banking background after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Richard is Chairman of Buchanan and a Director of Quill.
He has been involved in all aspects of financial communications from major cross-border contested transactions to IPO's. Most of his advisory work is focused within the media and financial sectors, advising clients such as WPP, Formula 1, Boohoo.com, Wincanton, and Essentra.
Sam Emery - Managing Director
Sam joined Quill in February 2011 having previously worked at Penrose Financial (now MHP Communications) in the institutional fund management team. He then moved in-house to Swiss private bank, Banque Bonhôte & Cie, and its trust company, Bonhôte Trust, as a marketing manager before joining the new private wealth management company, Charles Mia Ltd.
Sarah has 14 years experience as a PR and IR specialist to investment companies. Most recently, Sarah was head of PR and IR for Janus Henderson's investment trusts and prior to that spent 14 years at the AIC.
Stephanie joined Quill PR as head of content in August 2021.
She has worked as a personal finance and investment journalist for over 20 years, holding senior editorial positions on various industry titles including Money Management, Investment Week, Cover, Protection Strategy and Corporate Adviser. She has freelanced for trade and consumer finance titles including FT Adviser, Mortgage Strategy, Professional Pensions, Employee Benefits and What Investment. She has also acted as a PR consultant for the best part of two decades.
