Harriet Young

Harriet Young is an Executive Coach and a professional leader with 20 years creative and marketing experience in retail and product sectors. A strategic and organised thinker with a keen eye for identifying talent and a proven track record of developing highly effective teams and leading major strategic initiatives. Harriet was formerly vice president, retail sales and marketing, heading up the franchise creative teams for Disney Consumer Products (DCP) Europe. This involved leading the marketing and creative strategies for all franchise priorities across the Toys, Apparel, Stationery, Home and Food Health & Beauty divisions. Young and her team created materials that provide catalysts for new product initiatives across the lines of business. She worked on projects to reinforce DCP's intellectual properties both regionally and globally. Harriet also worked for leading design agency Coutts Retail Communications as group marketing director. She was responsible for driving the sales and creative teams within the business, fostering service excellence and driving category solutions for brands at key retailers across Europe. She holds a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design from Brighton University.

Jane Armstrong

Jane is a Director and a Coaching Consultant with a special interest in retention and conflict management scenarios. She began her career as an HR Officer in the oil industry. She gained experience in various roles and departments and developed an interest in training and development. In the 1980s Jane relocated to Australia to take on a role as Training Manager for a high profile group of department stores. On her return to England she joined an HR consultancy and undertook executive coaching, selection and management consultancy assignments for companies ranging from SMEs and start ups to large corporations such as Cadbury Shweppes, Unilever, Walt Disney, Sea Containers, Rolls Royce, Mattel, Bain and Co., Payments UK, British Retail Consortium. She joined the Regent Careers Group in 1998 and has played a key role as Board Director in the establishment of Regent Coaching and is highly regarded today as a leading authority on new coaching techniques and methodologies.

John Lowe - Founder

John Lowe is the founding director of Regent Coaching Ltd. He began his career in head-hunting and selection and in 1975 was appointed general manager of the Chess Partnership, a multi-branch resourcing consultancy in London and the Home Counties. Whilst working for Chess, he developed a unique approach to career coaching and began to work with clients on the development of internal executives as well as recruitment projects. In 1978 he established his own career management and training consultancy, which was purchased by a PLC in 1985. Since then, he has focused almost exclusively on career coaching. Over the years he has coached over 20,000 individual candidates across all industries and services, ranging from graduates to chief executives on salaries of up to £2 million. The success of the programme today rests largely on this accumulation of frontline experience incorporating SMEs and international organisations such as BP, Bechtel, Walt Disney, Marubeni, Saint Gobain, Unilever, RTZ, Accenture and Schroders. He has been a guest speaker at national corporate Learning and Development events and a guest lecturer at prestigious university business schools. He also trains senior managers to coach their own teams. He was recently awarded an MA in Philosophy from the University of London with a primary focus on Ethics in the current commercial climate.
