Angie Arias - CMO

Angie Arias, a Colorado native, began her career in radio and holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Northern Colorado. She has worked for more than 22 years in marketing and has been nationally recognized for her excellence in corporate marketing. Angie's career has included working with various industries across the country which contributes to her broad knowledge and experience in marketing. Angie is a proud military wife and mother to three kids. You can find her enjoying the beach with her family and friends on the weekends. She is passionate about serving the community as a child abuse prevention advocate, loves Jesus and cheering on her kids at sporting events and recitals.

Brad Mainor

Brad is a founding principal of Seaside Engineering and Surveying, LLC (SEAS) and serves as the operations manager, coordinating personnel and equipment for the numerous surveys the company performs. He is a licensed surveyor in Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee. An Army National Guard Veteran, Brad began his career as a surveyor at a young age in Niceville, Florida. With over 23 years of surveying experience, he is licensed in Alabama and Mississippi and has extensive experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Brad is a long-time resident of Baker, FL and an active member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. He serves as a deacon at his church and he and his wife, Wendy, work in the Senior Adult Ministry. They are proud parents to three grown children and three grandchildren. Brad enjoys running, eating good food, spending time with his family and friends and traveling with his wife.

Christopher Gray

Chris is a project manager at Seaside Engineering and Surveying (SEAS) and a licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in the State of Florida. He has experience in various survey types including control surveys, boundary/cadastral, topographic, hydrographic, construction, and as-built surveys. Chris has experience in both the private and government sectors. Chris is from Baker, Florida and is a graduate of The University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology/Construction Management. He started at SEAS in 2011 as a survey aid and worked his way up while expanding his surveying knowledge over the years. Chris also has his United States Coast Guard (USCG) Merchant Mariner Captain's License and is working towards becoming a U.S. Certified Hydrographer (CH). Chris is happily married to his wife, Laurin and they are the proud parents of two young boys, Jackson and Brycen. When Chris is not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, boating, working on home projects, and traveling.

Cole Granger

Cole Granger is a graduate of Florida State University with a BS in Civil Engineering. Born and raised on a farm in Gadsden County, Cole has spent the last ten years in Alabama and Florida as an Engineer Intern (E.I.), gaining experience in the water management district as a Project Engineer and a Geotechnical Staff Engineer. He joined the SEAS team in 2017 and now serves clients as a Project Manager in stormwater design, site design, and engineering. Cole obtained his Professional Engineers license in Florida in 2021. Cole loves to garden, hunt, smoke and grill meats, and ride motorcycles, but nothing compares to spending quality time with family and friends and making them laugh.

Dan Bowers Jr. - CFO

Dan Bowers is a licensed CPA from Florida State University and, for the last 3 years, has been the Chief Financial Officer at Seaside Engineering And Surveying. Dan has extensive experience in all aspects of financial management positions but also recognizes the importance of the relationship between SEAS and their valued clients. He handles sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism. Dan is highly regarded at SEAS for his character and effective collaboration in strategic financial management to meet the needs of his clients. Dan and his wife, Denise, are the proud parents of four grown children and two grandchildren. He is an avid hunter and fisher, and active member at his local church.

Heather Brown

Heather Brown grew up in a military family and settled in Crestview in 2002. She has been an important member of the SEAS team since 2008. Starting as a Receptionist and Client Liaison, Heather has a comprehensive knowledge of policies, procedures, and customer service. Now, as Office Manager, her vast responsibilities have emerged into billing, coordinating travel accommodations for out-of-town crews, managing crew and office supply orders, managing per diem, scheduling fleet maintenance, and crew purchases as well as a diverse list of behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the office running smoothly. Heather is a proud parent of 3 beautiful daughters and is passionate about her work with a local rescue to foster dogs.

Jeremy Loudenbeck

Jeremy Loudenbeck is a Professional Surveyor licensed in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, Florida, and manages the Memphis office and operations. He is passionate about surveying, the application of new technologies, and professional service. Jeremy began his journey in the survey and engineering industry back in the mid 90's while working through high school and college at Continental Engineering, Inc. Continental was a Memphis AE firm that specialized in DOT and USACE engineering and surveying projects and he was very fortunate to start at the bottom and progress through each position and skill. After graduating from the University of Memphis with his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Jeremy continued working with the same company until starting his own firm in 2002. Jeremy grew and operated his business until selling to another survey company in 2015. He has extensive knowledge and experience in boundary, topographic, hydrographic and construction surveying. Jeremy has spent the last 25 years working on high profile projects and building great relationships with clients and other professionals in the Memphis and midsouth regions. Mr. Loudenbeck lives in Memphis with his wife, Kimberly and children, Anna Grace and Caleb. He relishes any chance to stroll a golf course, wet a hook, or trek the woods but spends most of his time coaching football, lacrosse, or golf for his kids and their school, and LOVES every minute of it.

Jerry Allen

As a senior SEAS Geospatial Specialist, Jerry Allen has over twenty years of experience integrating positional information technology with remote sensors such as LiDAR and digital image capturing devices. Along with his hardware integration skills, he is also responsible for designing custom workflows and best practices to utilize these technologies. He is an expert at developing custom QA/QC and field data collection applications using ESRI's ArcMap, AutoCad, Microstation, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access. Additionally, Jerry is experienced in geodatabase design, developing applications using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, and is fluent in several programming languages, including Visual Basic.NET, and VBA. Jerry enjoys all aspects of music production and runs a collaborative youtube channel. Jerry and his wife Lindsey have 6 children and 1 grandchild and enjoy spending time together smoking meat, grilling, cooking large meals, and laughing with family and friends.

John Gustin - Founder, President

Finally, John Gustin IV, John Gustin III, Brad Mainor and Austin Youngblood flew to Andros Island, Bahamas to work on AUTEC Navy Base to survey for the demolition, design and construction of a large base housing project. John Gustin is a third generation professional Surveyor and Mapper with over 32 years of experience. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, John attributes his skill and knowledge to his grandfather and father, who paved the way for his success. As a contractor, his firm has performed work for 17 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Districts as well as NOAA and NAVFAC. He is a nationally recognized Hydrographer and has contributed to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hydrographic Surveying Engineering Manual. John is an authority on the Corps' Inland Electronic Navigational Chart (IENC) program. He has presented at seven annual IENC Program Review Meetings and continues to educate others through his lectures on Hydrographic Surveying and Marine Mobile LiDAR. A member of the Hydrographic Society of America (THSOA), you can find John's published articles on The Military Engineer on hydrographic surveying and mobile LiDAR Led Research and Development projects for software applications, mapping systems and dredge positioning systems in XYHT. He is also a licensed United States Coast Guard (USCG) Merchant Mariner Captain. John lives with his family in Baker, Florida. When he is not on-site, you can find him on the beach with his family or serving seniors at the local assisted living home. He is an active member in his community, serving as a deacon and on several committees at his local church.

Kent Stewart

Kent Stewart is the Remote Sensing Manager at SEAS and a licensed surveyor in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Kentucky. He is a certified Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 Remote Pilot as well as a licensed United States Coast Guard (USCG) Merchant Mariner Captain. His expertise is in mobile mapping systems, remotely operated vehicles and software and hardware development. He is a regular presenting speaker at state and national industry conferences and recently authored an article in Point Of Beginning (POB) magazine. Kent served on a panel at the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) cut score workshop to set passing grades for the upcoming national exams. Kent and his wife are proud parents to three grown children and four grandchildren. In addition to pursuing his Doctorate in Mathematics, he likes woodworking, photography, and playing golf but his favorite pass-time is offshore fishing with family and friends.

Laura Garrett

Laura Garrett is a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County and received an Associate of Arts degree from Northwest Florida State College with a specialty in transcription. She has been a valued part of the SEAS team since 2015. Although her favorite part about her position is being the Employee Liaison, because of her strength in organization, her area of expertise encompasses Fleet Management, Human Recourses, Event Coordination, assisting on proposals for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, and other various supportive administration duties. Laura is passionate about her relationship with Jesus and music, so when she is not humming or singing in the halls at SEAS, you will find her teaching piano or playing with the praise band and orchestra as the pianist in her local church. Laura and her husband are also the proud parents of two teenage sons.

Len Gordon

Len Gordon is a project manager with experience in surveying, mapping, and Geo GIS. He has worked on numerous projects for multiple USACE Districts as well private projects of varying size and complexity. His survey experience includes mobile/terrestrial LiDAR, hydrographic, boundary, topographic, geodetic control, construction stakeout, and gage installations. He is accomplished in GIS mapping data collection, processing, and production. As a Project Manager, Len is proficient in performing and overseeing that projects are completed in compliance with the requirements set forth by the scope of work and on time. It is his ambition that each project delivered, exceeds the client's expectations. Len began interning at SEAS in the summers of 2009 and 2010 and achieved his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida in May 2011. He earned his GISP (GIS Professional) title in 2015 and has is a member of SAME (Society of America Military Engineers) and GITA (Geospatial Information & Technology Association). Len enjoys volunteering at the Northwest Florida Collegiate High School, judging senior Capstone projects. He also addresses the junior classmates regarding surveying, mapping, and GIS to educate young minds on career paths in his profession. Len and his wife, Lydia, are the proud parents of a daughter, Paisley. He is an avid hunter and fisherman. They have 2 dogs (Willie and Holley), 3 horses (Chance, Herbie, and Duchess), and a donkey (Petey).

Timothy D. Bowden

Tim Bowden is a Principal Engineer and Surveyor at Seaside Engineering And Surveying (SEAS). He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, Oklahoma, and West Virginia. He is also a licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Florida, a Registered Land Surveyor in Georgia, a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas, and a Professional Surveyor in West Virginia. A graduate of the University of Florida, Tim began working for SEAS straight out of college. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in all aspects of government, commercial, and residential surveying as well as civil engineering projects, including civil site and stormwater system designs, post-construction engineering inspection and certification. He is now the Engineering Manager/Local Surveying Manager and valued partner with SEAS. Tim is passionate about his work, but in his spare time, he can be found coaching his children's soccer teams, fishing, hunting or playing a round of golf. Tim and his wife, Amy, have three wonderful children: Mackenzie, Keegan, and Delanie Jo. His oldest daughter was born on his 30 th birthday and was the best birthday present ever.
