SHORT MASONRY

Short Masonry is a small masonry and concrete contractor based in Coatesville PA, serving southeastern PA . Started in 1998 by Owner Chris Short, pride and precision fueled Chris' desire to provide quality masonry services at an affordable price. While in the 10th grade of high school Chris started his masonry career in 1989, studying under a master craftsman at the local vocational /technical school. After graduating Chris went to work for a residential masonry contractor as a laborer/apprentice for about a year before earning his spot "on the wall" with the other masons. Chris then moved to the commercial masonry world, where he worked until 1998 when he started Short Masonry. Working mostly for new home builders the business grew until 2001 when the housing market started to slow down. In 2002 Chris made the decision to go back to his full time job as a commercial mason, and keep his business going.
