SLATE ART

SLATE contemporary is a retail gallery, show room, and exhibition venue in Oakland, CA, where we produce six shows each year featuring the artists on the gallery's roster. The gallery is known for its emphasis on abstract painting and photography, but also features figurative, landscape, nature-based work, as well as mixed media and sculpture. We work closely with collectors, researching and crafting bespoke proposals. Communications will often start digitally, then advance to a private viewing appointment at the gallery to see a shortlist of selected works, before bringing artwork to a client's home for final approval and installation.
