Founded in 2005, the Social Housing Law Association (SHLA) is an organisation of and for professionals in the social housing sector. It is a forum where ideas and information can be exchanged and discussed... Membership is open to all social housing professionals who work for social landlords. Based in London with regional groups in the Midlands and the North, currently we have members from local authorities, housing associations, housing and policy professionals, solicitors and barristers... By joining, members get assistance in their professional development combined with extensive training. SHLA also provides informative seminars and training events.
