SPRINGFIELD - Key Persons
Dr De Veer joined the Practice as a partner in 2004. He obtained his medical degree in 1987 in Ghana. Dr De Veer has specialist interests in children's health, patients who have learning disabilities and diabetes. He is involved in supervising the Practice's diabetic clinics. He is one of the Practice's safeguarding leads for children and adults.
Dr Pywell joined the Practice as a partner in 1998 and he is now the longest serving and senior partner. He obtained his medical degree in 1989 from Leicester University. Dr Pywell has specialist interests in skin conditions, skin surgery and inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis). He provides joint injections for patients at the Practice. He is an elected member of the Coventry Local Medical Committee, the representative body for GPs in the Coventry area.
Dr Pywell works three clinical sessions a week at the Practice on various days.
Dr O'Flanagan joined the Practice as a partner in 2017. She obtained her medical degree in 2008 from Leicester University. Dr O'Flanagan has specialist interests in palliative care, children's health and child health surveillance. She is one of the Practice's safeguarding leads for children and adults. The Practice is involved in training qualified doctors who want to be GPs and Dr O'Flanagan is a GP trainer.
Dr O'Flanagan works five clinical sessions a week at the Practice on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Dr Hammon joined the Practice as a partner in 2016. She obtained her medical degree in 1999 from King's College London. Dr Hammon has specialist interests in mental health, skin conditions, women's health (including the menopause and contraception) and occupational medicine. The Practice is involved in training qualified doctors who want to be GPs and Dr Hammon is a GP trainer.
Dr Hammon works four clinical sessions a week at the Practice on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Dr Knipe joined the Practice as a salaried doctor in 2024. She obtained her medical degree in 2010 from the University of Wales. Dr Knipe has specialist interests in children's health and occupational medicine. Sh e provides joint injections for patients at the Practice.
Dr Knipe works five clinical sessions a week at the Practice on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Dr Owen joined the Practice as a partner in 2017. She obtained her medical degree in 2011 from Warwick University. Dr Owen has specialist interests in emergency care, palliative care and contraception.
Dr Owen works five clinical sessions a week at the Practice on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Dr Biggs joined the Practice as a partner in 2014. She obtained her medical degree in 2006 from Leicester/Warwick Universities. Dr Biggs has specialist interests in women's health (including the menopause and contraception) and diabetes. She is an elected member and Vice Chair of the Coventry Local Medical Committee, the representative body for GPs in the Coventry area.
Dr Biggs works three clinical sessions a week at the Practice on Mondays and Tuesdays.
