Adam Lawrence is a Managing Director and Head of European Debt Asset Management at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he is responsible for the management of all lending transactions post execution across Europe. In his extensive corporate and structured finance career; he has worked for both buy-side and sell-side institutions with experience across origination, credit risk, portfolio and asset management, as well as workout and restructuring. Mr. Lawrence previously served as Head of Asset Management, Private Credit at UK Institutional Investor Legal & General Group Plc - responsible for an £18B fixed income debt portfolio across the UK, Europe and the U.S, within their Investment Management division. Andrea Pierce

Andres Panza

Ash Kapur

Ash Kapur is the CEO of InTown Suites, a large investment in one of Starwood Capital's global opportunity funds, and is responsible for the company's overall strategy, growth and operations. InTown Suites is amongst the largest owner & operator of extended stay suites in the U.S. with over 185 properties and over 1,500 employees. Previously, Mr. Kapur joined Starwood Capital in 2011 and has served in various roles within the firm including as a Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of Hospitality in the Hotel Asset Management Group. In this role, Mr. Kapur managed a portfolio of Starwood's full service hotels with the objective of maximizing asset value including execution of capital projects, renovations and hotel repositioning. As Chief Revenue Officer, he was responsible for increasing revenues for Starwood's hotel assets in the United States and Europe, with a focus on hotel revenue management, sales, marketing, technology and e-commerce. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer for SH Hotels & Resorts, an affiliate of Starwood Capital Group. Austin Nowlin

He has held top leadership roles at some of the world's most prestigious firms. For the past decade, Leal was President and CEO of Virgin Hotels, recruited directly by Richard Branson to launch the brand. During his 10+ years at Virgin, Leal spearheaded the organizational vision, developed and implemented the strategic business plan, and led daily operations, building a world-class team and growing a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. Leal oversaw the launch of five Virgin Hotels and the development of an additional ten in its pipeline. He also developed a sustainability foundation, comprising all design, construction, and operations through LEED standards and strict environmental guidelines. The first Virgin Hotel was voted #1 in the US and #6 in the world by Condé Nast Traveler readers. Prior to launching Virgin, Leal was President and Partner at Tecton Hospitality, a management firm which owned and operated a diverse portfolio of 35 boutique hotels. Roy Shanholtz

Roy Shanholtz is a Senior Vice President in Asset Management and Head of Procurement at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he is responsible for maximizing value in all asset classes across the United States. Prior to joining Starwood Capital Group in 2006, Mr. Shanholtz worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts for approximately ten years. His last role at Starwood Hotels & Resorts was Senior Director, eCommerce, Strategic Sourcing within the North America Division. Roy and his team were responsible for development, implementation and ongoing management of procurement and sourcing technologies. His team directly developed and managed Starwood Hotel's eProcurement and eSourcing platforms. Prior to this, he led numerous projects within Starwood Hotels' corporate office, and served several hotels in a finance capacity. Mr. Shanholtz served in the U.S. Air Force stationed in the U.S. and in Japan.

Russell Bennett - Managing Director

Russell Bennett is a Managing Director and Head of Oil & Gas at Starwood Capital Group, with responsibility for leading the Firm's expansion into the oil & gas sector. In November 2013, Mr. Bennett closed Starwood Capital's first investment in the industry-a $35 million investment in Northeast Natural Energy. In June 2015, Mr. Bennett led a $110 million investment in EagleRidge Energy. Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2013, Mr. Bennett worked as an investment professional at Metalmark from 2004 to 2013. During his tenure there, Mr. Bennett played an active role in 15 investments, including portfolio add-on acquisitions. Mr. Bennett has served as a member of Northeast Natural Energy's Board of Directors from 2010 to present and has served as Chairman of EagleRidge Energy since June 2015. He began his career in the leverage finance and private equity coverage groups at JPMorgan. Mr. Bennett received a B.S. degree in economics from Northwestern University.

Sarah Broughton - CFO, COO, Managing Director

Sarah Broughton is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Europe. Ms. Broughton is head of our Luxembourg office and oversees the day to day management and operations of the firm in Europe. Ms. Broughton also coordinates Starwood Capital Group's internal financial functions in Europe, including tax, reporting and accounting and is an observer on the International Investment Committee in her capacity as a board member of the Luxembourg General Partner and associated Luxembourg entities. Prior to taking up her current responsibilities, Ms. Broughton played a key role in the asset management of a diverse portfolio of assets throughout Europe-including spending two years in Paris as a member of Groupe du Louvre's management team. Prior to joining Starwood in 2007, Ms. Broughton spent five years as a Financial Reporting Manager for Whitbread Plc. Ms. Broughton began her career at Andersen and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001. Ms. Broughton received a first-class honors degree in economics from Brunel University. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, as well as the Securities Institute.

Sean Harris

Sean Harris serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Starwood Real Estate Income Trust. Previously, Mr. Harris served as President of Starwood Real Estate Income Trust and has also served as a Senior Vice President in the Acquisitions Group where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring and executing investments across a variety of property types and geographies. Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2016, Mr. Harris served as a Director of Acquisitions and Investment Management at Monday Properties where he co-led acquisitions, investment management, and capital markets. Before joining Monday Properties, Mr. Harris worked for Ernst & Young in the Transaction Real Estate group. Mr. Harris received B.S. degrees in finance and accounting from East Carolina University and a MAcc from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

Steve Goldman

Steve Goldman is a Managing Director and Head of Hotel Acquisitions for the Americas at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, Mr. Goldman leads sourcing, structuring, underwriting and executing investments in the hospitality and leisure sectors. Mr. Goldman has more than 38 years of lodging industry investment experience within private equity, public company and family businesses. Prior to rejoining Starwood Mr. Goldman was a senior advisor for lodging related investments at a $15B hedge fund. Mr. Goldman held Chief Executive Officer roles at FelCor Lodging Trust, including through the integration of its merger with RLJ Lodging Trust, and Sunstone Hotel Investors. He served as President of SH Group (now called SH Hotels & Resorts), Barry Sternlicht's innovative hotel brand management company, and as Chief Executive Officer of Societe du Louvre, a Paris-based holding company owned by an affiliate of Starwood Capital that owned both luxury and economy hotel real estate, brand and management companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Goldman held senior acquisitions and asset management roles for Hilton Worldwide, Hyatt Hotels Corp. Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and the Walt Disney Company. Mr. Goldman received a B.S. degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Steve Lamberti - President

Steve Lamberti is the President of Highmark Residential, an affiliate of Starwood Capital Group. In this role, Mr. Lamberti is responsible for oversight of the multifamily management platform. Mr. Lamberti has over 38 years' experience in the real estate industry. Prior to his appointment as President in 2017, Mr. Lamberti served as Chief Operating Officer of Milestone Apartments Real Estate Investment Trust (a TSX Multifamily REIT) where he was responsible for establishing asset strategy, conducting property and portfolio acquisition due diligence, and maximizing property value. Prior to Milestone, Mr. Lamberti served as Vice President of Archon Group & Chief Operating Officer of Archon Management Services, a majority owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, where he led the expansion of Archon's owner-managed platform from approximately 3,000 multifamily units to over 30,000 units. Before that, Mr. Lamberti was one of the original four senior partners who established Walden Residential Properties (a NYSE Multifamily REIT). During his 14-year tenure at Walden, Mr. Lamberti served as Chief Operating Officer responsible for coordinating acquisition selection, due diligence, asset management, and financial performance. Mr. Lamberti received two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Nevada - Reno. He holds the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, is on the Board of Directors of the National Multi Housing Council, and has served in various positions with the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and the National Apartment Association.

Thomas Tolley

Thomas Tolley is a Managing Director and European General Counsel at Starwood Capital Group. Mr. Tolley is actively involved in all aspects of the Firm's European business, including acquisitions, financing (both on the lending and borrowing side) and asset management having represented Starwood's legal interests since 2012. Mr. Tolley has an M.A. from Oxford University and is a registered solicitor in England & Wales with Greenberg Traurig LLP. Mr. Tolley was previously a Director at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (formerly Hypo Real Estate Bank AG) working across the bank's European real estate lending activities having joined them from international law firm Allen & Overy LLP.
