Dr Tanya graduated in 1993 from the University of Otago (NZ).
Over her 29 year career in dentistry, she has worked in NZ in both private and government sectors, spent time working in England and has been working in Australia for the last 18 years. She has run her own practices in NZ and Australia.
Dr Tanya enjoys all areas of general, family and cosmetic dentistry.
Things she finds most rewarding are:
Improving patients smiles with cosmetic dentistry to install more confidence in people.
Helping anxious patients get through treatment in a gentle and calming way.
Working with children to create positive dental experiences, from an early age to encourage a life time of excellent dental health through prevention.
Dr Tanya is an active member of several dental study groups and of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and likes to keep up with new techniques and changes in the industry by attending continuing education courses regularly.
When she is not working she enjoys travel, spending time with friends and family, yoga, kayaking and bike rides.
Samantha Carrington graduated from the University of Manchester in the U.K. in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Science where she was awarded the prize for professionalism.
