TEWIN VILLAGE

Tewin is nestled between Welwyn Garden City and Hertford. It has many facilities typical of English villages including two village greens. The nearest train station, Welwyn North, is a short drive away and offers regular services to London. We have a thriving, popular primary school. The school has a swimming pool used for swimming lessons and it's also available to families during the summer holidays. Tewin Memorial Hall is home to many social and sports activities and large events such as weddings and parties. Tewin Stores is a wonderful community-owned shop/café and Post Office. There are two pubs, the Rose and Crown and the Plume of Feathers, and a 4 star hotel, Tewinbury Farm Hotel... Tewin is a village located in Hertfordshire part way between the towns of Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage. "Tewin Village" publishes village news and pictures and lists village sports and social events, it describes our Village Hall and Community Shop, as well as publishing Tewin Parish Council..
