Alice Rose

Job Titles:
  • Dietitian
Alice graduated from LaTrobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Dietetic Practice and has since completed her sports nutrition qualification. Alice is currently the VFL Sports Dietitian at the Western Bulldogs Football Club, teaches nutrition at Victoria University and has previously worked in private practice in Melbourne. Alice has a special interest in adolescent nutrition and enjoys working alongside individuals to help them live, feel and perform at their best. Alice will be consulting at the clinic on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Benjamin Calnin

Job Titles:
  • Strength & Conditioning Coach
Benjamin Calnin Strength & Conditioning Coach Ben graduated from Deakin University with a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science and has been working in Strength and Conditioning and Athlete Development for 8 years, with athletes across many sports and levels, which most recently includes athletes finding success at World, National and State levels. Past experiences have seen Ben spending time with the Melbourne Rebels youth 7's, Geelong Grammar Scholarship Athletes, and the Barwon Sports Academy program. Ben grew up playing representative levels of Football and Cricket, while also training for Athletics -giving great understanding of what is involved in competing. This is accompanied with over 15 years of weight training experience after finding a love for it at a young age. He has a strong interest in training for athletic performance and return to play, by addressing root causes of pain, instability and mobility issues - paired with strength tailored for an effective transfer to sport. Ben finds pure enjoyment through seeing improvement and success of his clients, and believes that it played a major role in establishing his passion for coaching.

Charlotte Branson

Charlotte is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University. Charlotte enjoys playing tennis, horse riding, weightlifting, and Pilates. Charlotte enjoys cooking healthy snacks like protein balls. Charlotte also loves to go on walks with her dog. You'll find Charlotte at the front desk ready to help you with any of your admin needs.

Darby Graham

Job Titles:
  • Physiotherapist
Darby graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences and a Masters of Physiotherapy. Darby has a keen interest in treating and diagnosing musculoskeletal injuries and has a particular interest in lower back and leg injuries. Having grown up playing representative sport and taking part in elite junior pathways, he is passionate about sport. Darby was a trainer for a local football and netball team. During that time, he really enjoyed helping players prepare before games and assisting them return from injury during the week. Darby's many years of playing sport comes with the understanding of frustration with injuries and pain. He enjoys tailoring each treatment session to allow patients to reach their health and fitness goals and get them back to what they love doing.

Ebony Smith

Ebony loves to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle. She participates in indoor netball and enjoys weightlifting. Ebony has completed a Bachelors of Sport and Exercise Science at Victoria University and is finishing her Bachelors of Psychological Science at Deakin to become a qualified Sports Psychologist. Ebony has participated in many sports since a young age including athletics, cross country, and triathlons, so she understands the importance of injury prevention and looking after your body to minimise injury risk. Ebony will be here to help you get the right treatment and will help answer any questions you may have.

Harry Carter

Harry graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice degree. Whilst completing his studies, Harry gained valuable experience working as a sports trainer for the West Coast Eagles AFL and AFLW teams and as an Allied Health Assistant for local providers. Having grown up in Ballarat, Harry has always had a strong passion for local sporting competition inclusive of football and rowing. He understands the importance of injury management and risk reduction, and well as difficulty in maintaining peak performance for all types of sporting events. Harry understands that injuries can be extremely frustrating and believes that with collaborative management and an individualised treatment approach, he can get his clients back on track and doing the activities they love as soon as possible.

Kim Faull

Kim is your first point of contact at The Injury Clinic, greeting you with a warm welcome and a friendly smile, and hopefully minimising that anxiety. Kim is a wife, mum, daughter and friend - all roles she holds in high regard and treats with great importance. You can be assured Kim will treat you, as a client, with that same level of importance. Kim has been with The Injury Clinic for over five years now, after an opportunity arose for her to revisit her administration experience, and with the passion she has for fitness, health and wellbeing, this role was a perfect fit for her. In her spare time, you will find Kim enjoying time with her family and dogs, Raff and Florence. Kim also makes sure she finds time for personal training sessions, running and Pilates. She does understand the importance of listening to your body, recognising any little "niggles" and taking care of yourself, both physically and mentally. She would love to expand on her interest in Sports Psychology to compliment her role at the Clinic. Kim's aim is to make your experience at The Injury Clinic a relaxed and pleasant one, the very moment you walk through the door or pick up the phone to arrange your appointment.

Lachie Cooper

Lachie graduated from La Trobe University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences/Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Since then, he has gained valuable experience in a range of settings, including private practice, sports clubs and occupational health. Lachie has been fortunate to blend his professional life with his passion for football, being the head physiotherapist of Whitefriars Old Collegians Football Club in the VAFA for the past 3 seasons. He also has a keen interest in treating athletes from a variety of different backgrounds, including cricket, hockey and athletics. He finds that the best results for his patients begin with a thorough examination, enabling treatment to target specific deficits. Lachie treats using a combination of exercise prescription, education, hands-on and dry needling. Growing up in Melbourne, Lachie spent a lot of time playing community and representative sport. Since recently moving to Geelong, you may find him running along the Barwon or playing local cricket.

Laura Anderson

Laura founded The Injury Clinic with the goal of providing Geelong with a physiotherapy clinic focussed on evidence-based practice and the best possible outcomes. This has evolved to include a team of like-minded health professionals working together to help clients achieve their goals. She is lucky enough to work alongside, and with, wonderful clients and a wonderful clinic team. Laura graduated from La Trobe University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree. She has since completed post-graduate study to obtain a Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy degree and earn her the title of ‘Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist'. Laura has worked as a private practice clinician for over 10 years, having worked previously in Melbourne and interstate. She has a special interest and a wealth of experience in the treatment and management of running-related injuries. Laura is currently enrolled in a PhD at La Trobe University looking at Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome in recreational runners. She has previously completed research looking at the effect of gait retraining on running related injuries, biomechanics and performance.

Liz Quinn

Liz graduated from the Auckland University of Technology in 2012 with a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Physiotherapy. She moved to Australia in 2013 and has since been working in private practice settings, gaining experience in the management and treatment of musculoskeletal presentations. Liz believes using a combination of hands-on therapies (including dry needling) and targeted strengthening exercises achieves the best results for her patients. Liz has a special interest in the management of pelvic pain and dysfunction, consequently she has furthered her education greatly in this area. With this interest she has naturally developed a greater understanding in postpartum musculoskeletal presentations, and is passionate about enabling the safe return to high level functional activities postpartum. As a mum of twins, Liz has first hand experience of pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain and returning to exercise postpartum.

Mason Spikers

Mason Spikers Strength & Conditioning Coach Mason is currently on the end of completing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at Deakin University. Having a great passion in a Strength and Conditioning pathway. He has experience with coaching and conditioning sprinters individually, and as a group. Mason grew up doing representative and competitive sports such as Football for Geelong Amateurs, and Athletics for Geelong Guild Athletics club. Mason used his 10 years of Athletics passion to coach and train other athletes in sprints and hurdles. Mason has always had a great interest in training for injury prevention, rehabilitation and sporting performance. He has gained, through his own experience of competitive sports, an understanding of the importance of the sports science field, Mason finds enjoyment in being able to train others to fulfil their potential and to see athletes succeed in reaching their goals.

Sam Coppinger

Sam graduated from Victoria University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. She has since completed a Masters in Dietetics and her sports nutrition qualification earning her the title ‘Accredited Practising Dietitian' and ‘Sports Dietitian.' Sam is currently the Sports Dietitian at the Western Bulldogs Football Club as well as Melbourne United in the NBL. She previously worked with Collingwood Football Club and has years of experience in private practice. Sam has a special interest in working with AFL, netball, basketball, athletics, endurance events, as well as a range of other sports. Sam is passionate about adolescent nutrition and ensuring active adolescents are adequately fuelled. Sam continues to play state league netball which keeps her fit and gives her lots of enjoyment as well as staying active daily. Sam is passionate about giving everyone access to quality nutrition support to assist with their training and help them reach their goals. **Please note that Sam will be on parental leave effective August 3rd, 2023

Sam Lewis

Sam graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences and a Masters of Physiotherapy. Sam has a strong interest in assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and working with clients to prevent re-injury. Having grown up along the Murray River in regional Victoria, Sam has competed in various sports, with his time and training now dedicated to senior football. Throughout recent years, Sam has also found a passion for programmed running and weight training. Sam is able to combine both his personal experience and the skills obtained in his degree to develop a strong understanding of the benefits of participation, physical demands and often injuries associated with a variety of sports and training programs. Having moved to Geelong and commencing work at The Injury Clinic, Sam is eager to meet and work through a collaborative approach to effectively help clients achieve their goals.
