Seth Tyler Black is a filmmaker based out of Buffalo, NY.
Black's professional artistry began around 2005 when he joined the York Daily Record as resident poet and creative writer, publishing over 30 of his poems. After leaving Pennsylvania and attending college at SUNY University at Buffalo starting in 2008, Black penned his first feature length screenplay titled A Portrait of a Young Artist, which earned him a spot as a finalist in the 2010 Buffalo Niagara Film Festival Screenplay Competition. After a year of doing a few small guerrilla art projects, Seth Tyler Black began working on his multimedia performance art series titled Rupture the Body, where he formed the art collaborative Travelling Showcase Productions.
