TROOP 170

We are located in Cherry Hill NJ and our chartering sponsor is St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church of Cherry Hill. Recently celebrating our 50th year the troop was founded in 1968 and has been a real success due to our fine leadership, parental involvement and spirit of community service and friendship. Troop 170 seeks to train our Scouts in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of physical and outdoor activities, educational and skills development programs, and at older age levels, career-oriented programs in partnership with community organizations. Over the past half century we have graduated over 98 Eagle Scouts with many more to soon achieve this prestigious honor... We meet on a weekly basis with the exception of holidays. At these meetings we provide a safe place to run a Boy led program of learning, team building and fun. Class "A" uniforms are mandatory at all Troop meetings and class "B" for most other..
