Windcharger Heritage Farm Ltd. is dedicated to preserving the heritage of the Shire Horse in Canada... Dale and Maxine share a love of horses going back to childhood where they grew up riding and loving their horses and ponies... Dale has dedicated his life to promoting the preservation of rare breeds of domestic animals. Over the years, he has provided a home for six rare breeds, including Light Brown Leghorn Chickens, Ridley Bronze Turkeys, Black Belly Sheep, American Mule Footed Hogs, Red Poll Cows and Shire Horses. Shires are listed on the "endangered" list of Rare Breeds Canada.
