WT Winter Associates Inc, changed its name to Winter Scale & Equipment effective January 1, 2013, however our beginnings go back to 1986. Our experience in the scale/food industry goes back more than 50 years to Baltimore, Maryland with William Winter taking a position as a Salesman for the old Toledo Scale Co. Bill's role changed over time from Salesperson to Manager and finally Northeast Regional Manager out of Fairfield, New Jersey... When Toledo Scale decided to convert the metropolitan NY and NJ area to a more service friendly local owner, the transition to WT Winter Associates, Inc. was a natural. John Winter, now president of Winter Scale Equipment, was there at the beginning after graduating from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, followed by Tom Winter and Joseph Winter.
