Brian Porteous is a Church of Scotland Ordained Local Minister, attached to the parish of Torbain in the north of Kirkcaldy. Prior to responding to the call to ministry, Brian's career was in culture, sport and leisure. After starting as professional officer of the British Orienteering Federation, Brian joined the Scottish Sports Council (now SportScotland) where he was eventually Director of Operations. He then moved west to become Depute Director of Parks and Recreation and Cultural and Leisure Services for Glasgow City Council. After his time in local government, Brian bacame a strategic management consultant working with organisations, large and small, in the public, voluntary and private sectors. His most notable client was the Irish Rugby Football Union where he was their strategic adviser for 12 years and carried out two World Cub Reviews. Brian is a voluntary chaplain with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Royal Mail in Cupar. Brian sees chaplaincy as a vital part of his ministry.
Douglas Roberts is a solicitor who specialises in Corporate and Sports law. He attends Tranent Parish Church and enjoys spending time with his family, keeping fit, watching pretty much any sport and travelling to new places.
Fergus Christie is one of the founding partners of Burnett Christie Knowles McCourts (BCKM) Edinburgh based solicitors. Fergus undertakes both criminal and civil court work and has extensive knowledge and a wide experience in both fields. Fergus is the vice chair and legal advisor to St Andrew's Children's Society, an organisation dealing with fostering and adoption.
Ian Gilmour is a retired Church of Scotland Minister currently acting as locum minister to Cramond Kirk in Edinburgh and as Interim Moderator to the Scots Kirk in Sri Lanka. Previously as minister of St Andrew's and St George's West he engaged with developing work place chaplaincy in the heart of Edinburgh.
Jane Denniston is currently minister of Campsie Parish Church in Lennoxtown, a large village Northeast of Glasgow. Before going into parish ministry, in 2016, she worked in the central offices of the Church of Scotland, organising training for ministry candidates. She has a doctorate in Supervision and a diploma in Pastoral Supervision which is concerned with well-being at work. Jane is married to David, who is also a minister. They have three children, two of whom are married, three grandchildren and two dogs.
Malcolm Cannon a graduate of St Andrews University, he has worked in 6 different sectors during a career spanning over 35 years. Having spent 10 years in pharmaceuticals and 10 years in the drinks industry, Malcolm has since held CEO posts at Hunter, ESPC, Cricket Scotland and the Institute of Directors in Scotland. He sits as a non-executive director and trustee on several sports-related organisations. His loves are sport, music, cooking, and holidaying in Scotland.

Sharon Sweeney is the Student Funding Officer at the University of Dundee. Sharon is a community educator and trade unionist, holding a seat on the STUC General Council via their Disabled Workers' Annual Conference. Sharon has held many roles within her university branch, her union, the University and College Union, both in Scotland and for the UK. In addition, Sharon is a trustee for three charities and has previously been a company director for her professional organisation. Sharon believes that her Christian faith enables her to 'keep the Gospels alive' by regularly 'crossing the road' to support those in need.
Wendy Alexander is Vice Principal, International at the University of Dundee and Scottish Government International Trade Envoy for Higher Education, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, a Patron of Social Investment Scotland and former member of Scottish Government's Strategic Board for Enterprise and Skills. As a Member of the Scottish Parliament (1999-2011), she served in the first three Scottish Cabinets, holding the Enterprise and Lifelong Learning and Transport and Communities portfolios. She is a longstanding member of the Church of Scotland and active in her home congregation, Wellington, Glasgow.
